Saratoga Olive Oil Co. is a beautiful shop on Main St. in Lake Placid. A nice variety of quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars as well as spices, salts, and other seasonings. They offer several sizes of their products in the store and on their website.
The staff are kind and helpful when looking for a specific product. They also offer beautiful gift baskets that would make perfect holiday gifts and souvenirs. They did offer tastings before COVID-19, but have not yet brought them back.

We received a gift basket of olive oil and vinegar from our VRBO hosts As a welcome gift.
We meandered into the store. The selections of olive oils, vinegars, spices are amazing.
Needless to say, we started Christmas shopping early this year.

The Saratoga Olive Oil Company has a wonderful selection of olive oils and vinegars as well as spices, condiments, gift packages etc.. and samplings. Very attentive staff.

Visited Saturday 1/23 to grab some of our favorite basil infused olive and compliments to the young man that assisted us. Ended up getting some lemon infused white balsamic vinegar and premium white balsamic vinegar. Then saw some biscottis that are amazing! Definitely we’d to stop in if you’re in Lake Placid!!

Definitely the best store on Main Street. Their staff are knowledgeable and super helpful. Their quantity and of oils and vinegars are amazing. You won't be disappointed. We also bought their truffle salt which we have bought here before and loved.

Loved all the different flavor of oils and vinegars. And the option to taste them all.
I walked out with the black truffle oils, and the one from Spain.
Would love to have a shoppe close to home.

I stopped in here just to browse, but of course I had to buy. Their stuff is so good!!! I purchased a dark cherry balsamic vinegar that I cannot wait to try! You are invited to taste everything before buying it, and most people do. They're products are amazing!

First time in this type of shop. Loved the selection and the ability to taste all the different oil and vinegar combinations you want. Staff was helpful. I did find the place to be greatly overpriced on everything. So if you are on a budget you wont be buying here. When I did check out the staff offered a 10% military discount but had difficulty applying it and processing a visa gift card. They must be working on commission because when I asked about the military they seemed put off.

I was looking around Lake Placid and I noticed this super cute window shop. Inside there Are so Many Olive oils from all around the world. The sellers from the store will help you to create your own recipes, to mix and Match Olive oils in the most tastiest ways. And you can try All the oils you want!

When I shop for cooking oils or balsamic vinegar, Saratoga is the only place I go. Here you can sample the flavors before you buy and you know each was carefully crafted to bring out the flavor in your foods. Conveniently located on the main street its a great place to stop while visiting downtown.
