Bear Essentials had a full selection of clothing as well as hats and blankets. They say their products are designed and printed or embroidered locally with short runs of unique images. There were a lot of items with Lake Placid on them, which is to be expected and the quality of the products seemed nice.

What a lovely little store with the FRIENDLIEST staff. The college student on duty was so helpful and friendly. They have a nice selection of clothing, reasonably priced and clearly a professional staff. While we were there another customer came in to place an order for t-shirts and the woman was knowledgeable and super helpful to this guy. She recommended places to eat in town for us and told us how to get there. I know she's studying history in college so I wish her all the best!!!

This is my favorite store in Lake Placid and it is a must stop, every time we are in the area. Lake Placid clothing that does not appear cheap and touristy. The clothing is good quality at reasonable and affordable prices.

Good selection of shirts. Prices reasonable and offered larger sizes. Employee was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again.

The store is dog friendly, which I love. The guy behind the counter was really helpful and friendly. He told us about their designs, materials, etc. & how the clothing is made right in the Adirondacks. I bought a couple shirts- so soft and comfy! I've shamelessly been alternating them for a week now! Good prices, good people, good products.

this is a great store with affordable prices. it's a great place to go to pick up t-shirts or sweatshirts. it was the cheapest in the area for the same stuff that we found at other stores in the area.
