The weather on the day of our visit to this waterfront park was cloudy and blustery so we did not do as much walking as anticipated. We did enjoy the sculptures and will likely return on our next trip to the Hudson Valley.

The Peekskill Landing Patk has nice waterfront views of the Hudson. We got some take out and parked by the water to enjoy lunch. There are benches by the water.

Peekskill isn't the first place that comes to mind when you want to enjoy the riverbanks of the Hudson but I was pleasantly surprised at a recent visit. The facility has a playground and large pavilion for BBQs and events. There are several monuments and public art installations that give us time to reflect and enjoy. Convenient to the train station and some nice food establishments make for a one-stop respite on a nice summer day.

We love coming to this park! The trails and artwork are beautiful. The playground for the kids is great. There are many places to sit. The local restaurants are great! It is all right at the Peekskill MetroNorth station so it is easy to get to even if you are not a local. The free summer concert series is fantastic!

We went to this park to have a walk. It has a great playground for kids. The sceneryg was nice and will be much nicer where spring really comes to the area. The walk along the river was a little cool, but is long enough that you can get in a pretty good walk. There are plenty of benches along the way. One warning is that we had to dodge Canadian goose droppings!

Great park, I usually run the path summer. Plenty of statues and art along the way. Convenient to the train

I was there in the summer to see a band on a Thursday night.. Beautiful spot to sit and relax and listen to great music. Grounds are well kept

Plenty of free parking, plenty of wide open spaces and a nice trail or two right along the Hudson River.
The park also has some interesting artwork by local artists.
Great place to spend a few relaxing hour or two.

Easy access from metro-north from NYC (appx 1 hour trip). Beautiful park with gorgeous mountain views with picnic, kiddie, and walking areas. Very nice for a day trip. We've done it a number of times allready (also is a nice backdrop for nice pictures of the family). Its also close to nice parks up the roads (Depew and Blue mountain reservation)

Watch the weather reports we found a flooded parking area and path. Still a good place to go and have a walk next to the Hudson and break up your trip. A few interesting statues on the walkway. Pleasant but soggy.
