‪A charming little hometown that is at least 1/2 the price of the chain movie theaters & the popcorn & snacks are always fresh and seats are very comfortable. They don't usually get new release movies, but if you can wait a month or so...it will be worth the wait! I love this little gem‬

‪This theater is awesome. They run films that have already been out in big theaters very shortly after. The theater is immaculate. aone screen usually alternating adult and child offerings. Consession prices are so cheap compared to Regal/Bowtie. Real butter on popcorn. Great baclcony seeting too. This place is a gem! Tickets also half the price of other theaters. You will not break the bank here. LOVE to support local.‬

‪Great place - cash only!‬

‪While visiting our grandsons in New York over Memorial day holiday weekend, my husband and I took them to the Scotia movie theater to see a film. Prices were extremely reasonable and half the price of new releases. We were able to afford popcorn, drinks, and movie tickets for everybody, albeit they only take cash. Seats are very comfortable and nice clean toilets, great place to see movies a few months after they have been released at the regular theaters.‬

‪Scotia is a great little community and had the luxury of a family-owned movie theatre with comfortable seats, affordable tickets, and freshly-made popcorn. A great place for date night!‬

‪We love waiting a bit to see great movie from the balcony of an old style movie house! Prices remain very cheap, while the popcorn has gone up its still a lot less than the chain theaters. Glad to help a locally owned business!‬

‪Worth the wait!‬

‪So what if popular movies show up here a month or so after nationwide release. It's worth the wait: great ticket prices, modestly priced candy and drinks, and popcorn with real butter. And this theater has a real balcony, too.‬

‪Looking for a truly enjoyable modern old time experience, then Scotia Cinema is the place to go. One big screen, comfortable seating, low prices, family friendly and it has a balcony. It is a gem in the Capital District and I hope it always remains that way.‬
