Ordered a pizza for takeout. Ate one piece and threw away the rest. Crust was burned black, oh how I wished I had checked the pizza before driving home. Prices were in my opinion high.

Love this place. We had brunch in the Bistro. Food and atmosphere were great, not to mention the mimosa. We have since visiting the tasting room and were just as pleased. Great wines, and some nice daily specials. We will definitely be back.

I seriously loved this place! I always drove by, but never stopped. I’m so glad I finally decided to try it out. I went for a brunch event, and the food was excellent. They have a lot of different options on their brunch menu. I really enjoyed the mimosas as well. I’m not a wine drinker, so I didn’t sample any, but some of the others in my party did and enjoyed them. I will definitely be stopping here more often and doing brunch here with friends and family!

The winery was a very cute place. The wine was good. The price for a flight of 5 samples was $15 which was reasonable.
We were shocked to see the only cheese offering was a large charcuterie board for $30. There was just my daughter and myself and we only wanted a little bit of cheese , not the large board suitable for a table. We ended up getting a small bag of Tostitos and a sample of salsa and it was $6 which seemed a lot , but salsa was tasty.
In addition, a large part of the 3 star review was the fact the man in the tasting room was very dismissive. He wasn't at all helpful and seemed annoyed we were asking questions.
However the woman who ended up helping us was very friendly and helpful. We are from out of town so won't be back regardless , but if we were locals we'd perhaps give it another try since it was a cute place with good wine.

We are in town for the Boilermaker (family are running) The food here was SO delicious and a nice surprise in an otherwise quiet upstate area! We tried the Cabernet (I love that the menu specifically identifies dry-sweetness scale for each wine). Deserts were creative (key lime … cake?) Impeccable. Chocolate cake was very “chocolatey”. Yum! We may stay nearby to here for next year’s 15 K just to eat at this restaurant!

What a wonderful treat! We were passing through Verona and needed a place for Sunday brunch. I went with the gluten free flatbread breakfast pizza and was thrilled with the great flavor of the crust- it was a cauliflower crust with an herbs. Absolutely delicious!
My son (not gluten free) went with the breakfast poutine- huge bowl of home fries with fried egg and hollandaise sauce. He actually had trouble finishing it!
Also- really reasonably priced!

Food was good and reasonably priced. Restaurant interior is nicely decorated, clean and cozy. Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful, we even purchased 2 bottles of wine to take home!

We had a reservation in the winery due to the Bistro being booked. These are in two separate buildings. First the cons. There was one server working in both buildings who could not possibly be that attentive. The amount of items not available on both the bar and wine menu was almost comic. " the truck didn't deliver" and that excuse was just for cheese?! We were not in a hurry, but the wait for everything was extraordinarily long. It's a Saturday, in the summer, at a winery, with tourists. Every excuse we heard was that we didn't expect this amount of people?! The Pros: the friendly personable bartender bent over backwards to check on us and make sure we were happy, and she had her hands full. Our overworked server was very gracious and pleasant in spite of the impossible assignment she had. There was no way you could fault her for our service. Where's the management in al of this chaos?The last pro was when we finally got our food for the seven of us, it was outstanding; we were all very happy. The kitchen knows what they're doing.

What took me so long to try this place? It was utterly amazing!! Our dining experience started off with Destiny as our waitress, and there was something so genuine about her. Loved her! Her recommendations were spot on. I got the Empire cauliflower pizza, which had goat cheese, apples, honey and caramelized onions. So yummy!! My husband got the Southern fried chicken with a deep fried baked potato and greens with a white gravy. He practically licked the plate clean. But the wine!! Best Riesling I ever had, even better than white wines I’ve had at wineries in Italy. So good, in fact, I bought a bottle to go. Loved the food, service, and atmosphere. This place is a “must try” if you’ve never been.

Coming to area with a bus group Nov 3... what is cost to visit Villa Verona Vineyards?

They serve six generous tastings for five dollars if you're coming in November the bistro will be open or you can also have a great lunch or dinner. You might want to call in advance if it's a large group so they can be prepared

Is there either Taxi or Shuttle service available from Turning Stone Casino?

Hi Shirley! There are Taxis available in the area, but as of right now, neither Villa Verona or the Turning Stone provide transportation. We hope to see you soon!
