This light house is located within a neighborhood. You can walk around the base of the lighthouse, but here is not much to see. Parking is very limited. No more than 2 maybe 3 cars can be there at the same time.

This lighthouse takes a bit to get to ~ we originally thought it was in the state park ~ nope its amongst residential housing. The guy that lives in the house behind the lighthouse was outside doing work while we visited and watched us the whole time. Fortunately, you can't go inside soo it's a quick visit and FREE. Overall its a pretty little lighthouse on The Great Ontario Lake.

Whenever I go to Sylvan Beach at Lake Oneida I stop by the refurbished Lighthouse. It's a unique type of lighthouse that the Verona Beach Lighthouse group of volunteers lovingly restored. It's a peaceful place with benches and a great view of the lake. It's a nice place to stop.

Situated in a neighborhood next to the lake, it’s a surprising spot to find a lighthouse. It’s got a nice little history and it’s in a great spot to view the sunset.

It will be a short stay but a nice view of the lake also. There's boards that you can read about the lighthouse. Your stay can be under 30 minutes, But if you come around sunset the view is worth the stay. There maybe sailboats or people enjoying the lake. And sometimes birds will fly by and come to the shore.

Beautiful Old Lighthouse taken care of by a group of volunteers. Nice beach and swimming is available.

So fun discovering this light house and reading about its history. It is right by the water so we took a few minutes to watch the boats. I never knew this lighthouse was here. A fun discovery.

Walk from Verona beach.There is parking for a few cars. Small beach area.There are 2 benches by the lighthouse.

This was quite the surprise to me. I joking said " I wonder if there is a lighthouse near here" and a minute later I saw a sign for the Lighthouse. What a fun day.

Awesome view on the east end of Oneida Lake. This location also has a fun Geocache. There is a sand bar out front if you'd like to spend time on the beach, however, it is open to boats, so may not be the best location for a lot of swimming.
