Our usual first stop and great to meet friendly helpful staff with detailed local knowledge. Sourced some very useful brochures for Rockingham and other areas on our visitation agenda. Good selection of mementos and souvenirs available.

Called in here to find out how to get to Rottnest Island and Wharton’s was available there. The staff were very friendly and helpful

oh dear; little or no help from the lass behind the counter; even using their PC-at a cost (which was fine) was problematic; system slow and really a poor experience; probably ok if you aren't in a hurry as there's plenty of literature, but if you ain't buying something then beware you may find the experience draining.

I live locally and rely on this venue to help source information for others.it is a wonderful friendly inviting space that is well resourced and has very knowledgeable employees.

While we were safe in the Penguin Centre in Rockingham, several trees had been fallen to the ground.
One of these trees were nearby the Rockingham Visitor Centre.
The clerk was very friendly. He gave us a map of Rockingham and attractions that we would like.
Inside it was very modern and lots of pamphlets were available for free.
We left with a smile. Now we knew where to go!

We called in twice to the Visitor Centre. The staff are brilliant and went above and beyond with the help. Made our stay easy and enjoyable.

We will be staying in Perth soon and would love to see The Catalba memorial but we won't have a car. Would we be able to take the train to Rockingham and then get a taxi to see it?

yes , the short answer
Rockingham is a pleasant village to have a day stay
you can walk around all day enjoy the beach area and some good eateries
not sure about the frequency of taxi service
suggest to contact the visitor centre
