Not really much to review. When you look at it, it is whatever you feel about it. Some people find it ugly, i think its funny. A big metal statue of a lady walking, in the middle of a traffic circle.

As we drove into Gabreski Airport at Westhampton, we were surprised to see a 30 foot tall aluminum sculpture in the traffic circle. I did a little research and the artist is Donald Baechler, who constructed the figure in Arizona based on sketches he made in the late 1980s. The statue was trucked across the sountry and installed in 2014. The art was commissioned by 2 cousins the Reichlers who are developing the Hampton Business District at the Gabreski Airport. The sculpture is a little surprising, but is not unpleasant to view. I believe it illustrates a feeling of movement and activity supposed to capture the theme of a vibrant airport business area.
