I previously visited the branch in CT. While it was fun, this location is much better. The employees were much more professional, engaged and helpful. The place has a main building with restrooms. Water fountain exist - but they don't work (please fix). Other than that - it is just a blast.

Me and my friends were having a little trouble on one of the courses and the worker Jay came into action and he helped us be able to not still be stuck up there to this day- Thank you Jay!

Had a wonderful time at the park with my friend. We both did the yellow & black trails. it was fun. the zip lining from tree to tree was really fun. the length of it was great. The staff was helpful when I was stuck. We would go there again

The adventure park in Long Island offers several courses with varying levels of difficulty. Even the medium was surprisingly challenging but fun.
Highly recommend, it’s a beautiful location and great way to spend an afternoon with kids and adults alike. Estimate about an hour per course & 30 min for safety & set up so 3 hours is ideal.
Bob who directs the location is amazing, with an eye on climbers & very caring.

So I am the parent of a stereotypical moody, brooding 16 y/o, who would rather be anywhere else but with his family. Until now. We were visiting my brother and his wife who has a younger teen boy and were trying to find activities that we would all enjoy. This was it.
You should pre-pay on line and reserve a time slot. You CAN go to the counter but I don’t know what they will do if they are full. When we arrived, we showed our pre-paid tickets and purchased fingerless leather climbing gloves ($7.80 or so). You can use gardening gloves or similar, but I highly recommend fingerless gloves as full-finger will get HOT.
All of the courses are designated by colors, like a ski mountain. Yellow is the easiest, then green, then blue, then black. Thy gave us wrist bands with a time on it, which was the last time we could start a course. Our showtime was 11:45 and 4:40 was the last time we could get on a course. We didn’t think we would possibly use that much time, but we did! After a brief 10 min safety video on how to use the safety clips and “tweezles” we got harnessed up and were ready to climb. As it was our first time, we all started on a “yellow” “easy” course. As an adult, I wouldn’t say it was super easy, but kids were running through them like it was nothing. That course built our confidence so we decided to move up to green for a couple of runs. Each course took us approximately 30-40 minutes. Keep in mind that if someone is ahead of you on the course, and they are having a hard time navigating the obstacle, you may have to wait (Like mini-golf). It really wasn’t crowded at all with so many obstacle courses available. They do allow you to “ask to pass” so that everyone can have fun and you don’t waste your time.
I’m not super athletic but I can hold my own. I’m also fairly afraid of heights over 6 feet. If that’s your case, I would stick with the yellow and green. There are numerous courses of each color so even if you stick with one color, you’ll have plenty of runs. I did try the blue course and bailed out after about three obstacles since we were climbing higher. My brother and his wife continued on it (it was called waterfall) and they said it was extremely challenging. However, my son did both black diamonds and said although it was challenging, he didn’t have much of a problem with it. He did say it uses quite a lot of upper body strength so I knew I was out. It’s also extremely high.
All of the courses begin at one central platform. It was nice to be able to go up as a family and then split off to our individual courses. In general the obstacles are very well-maintained. There were a couple of spots that seemed to have some wood wear but when I mentioned it to a staff member, he went to check it out immediately. In general, I felt very safe. Staff members are also all over the grounds ready to help explain how to navigate an obstacle, or to rescue you if you get stuck (some people get scared).
At the course, they have a covered pavilion with picnic tables. We saw many people with full picnics set up, but it seemed to wind down after about 12. Otherwise if you plan to picnic, you may want to get there early and set up. They also have some very nice picnic areas with bonfire pits that you can reserve. They don’t have a snack bar, but they do have ice cream, and cold drinks for purchase. When we were there, there was a sign that said a pizza place was coming soon.
It was a beautiful environment, completely shady, with a playground area for younger kids who don’t want to/can’t climb. There are age requirements so look on the website or call for that info.
You can’t climb with anything that you can’t fit SECURELY in your pockets since you have a safety harness. They do have lockers
Also, bring bug spray as there are definitely mosquitoes and a tight fitting, baseball hat is recommended since there are potentially ticks in the trees. There were several hats on the ground under the courses, and you can’t get in there to retrieve anything because of poison ivy. Don’t worry, they have wood chipped trails to keep you safe from that. All in all, it was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend this as a full-day/five-hour adventure!

We went to Adventure Park on Monday, June 20, 2022 and had an awesome day! The Park is organized and all of the staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. It was a fun day for everyone regardless of age. We went with a group of 16 year olds and an 11 year old. There were adults climbing as well as much younger kids. Definitely worth the cost:)

Fantastic place! Well maintained and always felt completely safe! Staff always willing to help and answer any concerns! I’m 72 and although challenging, completed three courses. I’d have done more but my teammates were tired!
Best day ever no matter what your age!

I have visited adventure park on a number of occasions. It’s always a great time for family and friends. This time I rented the fire pit. Great choice on a chilly night.

I took my 12 year old and her friend to the glow in the dark climb on a rainy, dreary evening. It ended up being a very fun time: the ropes course was magically lit up, the trees shielded us from the rain, and the accompanying witchy music, the eve of Halloween, added to the surreal atmosphere! The girls had a blast!

Great exercise and a lot of fun. There are different courses based on difficulty. So there is for everyone to enjoy. Only down side this time is they don't provide gloves anymore you have to purchase your own. Range in price to 16.95. There are lockers to use they are $5 but worth it.

Hello, what is the fee for 2 adults. Do you charge by the hour? Half days? full day?
Thank you

Is it geared more for young people. I was going get gift card for my 28 year old daughter and her 33 year old boy friend. Seems all reviews are about young kids. Want to make sure it would be advanced enough for them.
Thank you

Definitely good for all skill levels. They have 2 courses that are extremely challenging.
Is there any entry ticket and if any so for how much? What age of people can go?

There is no fee for non-climbing observers. Tickets range from the low $30s to mid $50's for 3 hours of climbing, depending on the age of the participant and the time of day. See their website for details and reservations.
