We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Christman's Windham House. We stayed in the Oakhurst building which was a short walk uphill from the Inn. The rooms in this building were of a motel style while the rooms in the inn had more character. Our package included breakfast, golf, dinner at the tavern and our room.
There was a choice of about 6 or 7 hot items for breakfast, as well as fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Ronnie, our server, was very pleasant and the breakfast was served exceptionally fast. The waffles were great!
Dinner was served across the street in the tavern. There were 3 choices for your entree, along with an appetizer and dessert. The menu changed nightly. It was pleasant to see Ruth, the owner, greeting people then dining in the tavern with others. She was also very visible at breakfast.
The golf course is on the mountain and was challenging but fun. Watch out for the 18th hole! We were allowed to keep the golf cart at our room so that we didn't have to return to the club house for another round the next day.
The inn has a lot of character and charm, the food was great, and the staff were very pleasant. Ruth even let us preview a room for our return in the spring.

Quite upstate getaway with great views. Simple rooms. Very friendly staff. Golf course is very fun and challenging course. A true hidden gem.

Wanted to like this place . Staff friendly, helpful but room had overpowering mold and mildew smell. Furnishings outdated. Left after one night even though I paid for two. Didn't feel safe. Room had two doors to access room each with just a simple lock. Housekeeping left one door unlocked after they were there.

I went here with a family member to play golf. The course is exceptionally maintained and provides great views of the Catskills. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Setting a tee time was easy and a cart was waiting for us as soon as we arrived. We arrived early weretold we could play a hole or two before ours tee time on the executive course. They have a 9 hole course ( The Valley Course) near the clubhouse and the 18 hole is across the street on the mountain. The Christman's offer more than golf at their facility. Golf was reasonably priced. See website for rates. They offer rooms and dining set in a mountain atmosphere. A great gem in the Catskills.
