‪This is a must see attraction at Emu Park. The ship ship really was making musical noises when we where there as it was windy. Worth visiting.‬

‪A SPECIAL PLACE TO SEE‬

‪Especially on a breezy day as the in built organ pipes may sing for you. The Anzac Memorial trail leads to the RSL. A comfy destination for a cool bevy.‬

‪Great views, at the end of the Anzac memorial walk‬

‪We went on a very windy day so the ship was singing very loudly. We walked to the shop via the Anzac memorial walk. The ship area has great views.‬

‪A very interesting piece of art…and it “sings” when the wind is blowing. Great views of the islands as well. ‬

‪Worth the stop‬

‪A quite place to reflect after walking along the Centenary of ANZAC Memorial Walk (a must do). On top of the hill, spend the time to just sit and listen to the beautiful soft tones as you gaze out to the Keppel Islands.‬

‪Drink up me 'earties, yo ho‬

‪Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage plunder, we rifle and loot.
Stand up me hearties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.

:) ... NO it's not that kind of ship.

The singing ship is placed here as a memorial to Captain James Cook- Explorer, Navigator and Cartographer who arrived and named Keppel Bay in May 1770.

The unique design represents the billowing sail, mast and rigging of his ship Endeavour. Concealed organ pipes use the sea breezes to create the musical sounds.

This is a must see if you are in the area... it's not the only must see ... this area is well worth spending hours in.‬

‪We took the family to see this and the kids absolutely loved playing around the singing ship and the beautiful tunes that it made when the wind picked up made the visit so worthwhile. We have some great family photos to remember our visit. ‬

‪Singing Ship with a view‬

‪What a unique structure which sits high on a grassy hill (at the end of the ANZAC walk) with such magnificent sea views. It is in honour to Captain James Cook. The hidden organ pipes on the structure use the sea breezes to produce the little musical "tubular" sounds.‬
