It's a great drive, along what was described as a rollercoaster ride 😊 needs some up keep but a great bbq area with swings. No access to the weir but you can sit at bbq table see the weir and enjoy the sound of the running water.

No swimming facilities anymore but still a cute little park and free bbq near the weir. Lovely to hear it running over.

great place to have family bbq or gathering with little or no traffic going past, playground for the kids, cricket field across the road, the weir to see nature and fish

nice spot for a picnic, but theres other places just as pleasant that are closer to maryborough. good for a picnic or a peruse after rain, but dangerous for kids then.

The weir is about 10 klm out of town on a bitumen road just watch when you are close to the weir there are some sharps turns & dips in the road . - Not much of a playground for kids but there are toilets & electric BBQ's.You can drive past the weir when it is not over the road . very peaceful .
