What a wonderful inviting information centre. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of brochures. Display of women’s riding clothing. Informative signage. Some hints on how a lady should ride a horse. We spent about an hour here we were enjoying the exhibition so much. A delightful business.

A well designed Visitor Information Centre that fits in well with the community grounds. The park next door has BBQ facilities, seating and a propeller from the local wind farm. The propellers look large when viewed in a Wind Farm but standing next to one really shows the “hugeness” of one. The park also is home to a memorial to the firefighters in the local Ash Wednesday fires on 16 February 1983.
There is a large carpark, including disabled parking. Note on the way into the Centre the art work on the toilets to the back of the outside of the centre and also on the outside walls. The centre is large with space to enjoy the components of the centre including local artworks and merchandise. There is a large display of pamphlets and information about the south east of South Australia and nearby southwestern Victoria.
Access to the local historical museum is through the centre. I must compliment the staff on their friendliness and willingness to answer the many questions I had.
Return? Most definitely when travelling Millicent way again!

Friendly staff with lots of info on the area and further afield. Weekend pack outside hot collect after hours. Great facilities for self contained vehicles at rear car park.

Went looking for best way back to Adelaide and they sold me tickets for the Premier Interstate coach. Problem solved. Only unfortunate bit was that they couldn’t accept my UK concession pass which would have made the trip a lot less expensive.

Lots of information for visitors and interesting things to see. Also gives you access to the fantastic Museum next door where you could spend several hours looking through the amazing displays.

Millicent Visitor Information Centre is staffed by local people that are very knowledgeable about the Millicent/Mount Gambier/western Victoria area. They were particularly helpful regarding National Parks and well stocked with maps and pamphlets. The centre is friendly and welcoming and their advice proved invaluable. I recommend them.

The staff in the information centre were very friendly and helpful. Outside the centre is a blade from a wind farm tower - huge!

The Millicent Visitor Information Centre has maps, brochures and flyers about Millicent, and also the surrounding area, e.g. Beachport, local national and conservation parks, and western Victoria. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we were there. A list with local cafes and restaurants included opening hours, which were helpful. Check the website for opening times.
