The first time I went there, I stepped back in time. Albums, Cassettes, vintage clothing, original posters, and other interesting artifacts from days gone by, many of which I'd never seen before and reasonably priced. But some come in just to browse and take in the place like a museum.
They have bands to come in sometimes. I went in tonight, and there was a band and there was no cover charge. Just good rock and roll, and lots of free spirits
The owners are super cool, very laid back, very customer friendly.
If you go on the weekends expect to see people hangind out on the sofa or chairs, texting, discussing things, etc. And Lafayette street is one of the best streets in Shelby well traveled by the Elite of the area. Walking distance of several great restaurants as well as several high fashion stores and well patrolled.
If you are looking for a place to take you back in time, a place with good deals, and a place showing Americana, you will love it.
