‪Beautiful waterfalls‬

‪Discovered this gem of a park with waterfalls in Valdese North Carolina. Beautiful river, very scenic, picturesque with great photo spots.‬

‪What a neat out in the country find! It is a beautiful area. I researched the history and found it interesting. There are several great photo spots too! ‬

‪Nice way to spend some time with nature. Pretty waterfall.‬

‪Beautiful waterfall, easy walk to top of falls from parking lot. Getting to bottom a bit more work but still pretty easy. Would be a nice place to picnic. There are tables and a little covered area. Plus a sand volleyball court. Also a few benches along the river leading up to the waterfall.

We saw tadpoles in the shallows at the top of the waterfall. We walked down to bottom of the falls,‬

‪Great place for a quiet, relaxing and cool morning activity. No other visitors so we were able to walk around and enjoy the falls. The cool water and the sounds of nature was amazing.‬

‪Pretty place!‬

‪We stopped here while visiting the area. It is so pretty and peaceful here. It was a cool, overcast day, so I'm sure it's busier in the warmer weather. We walked around for a bit and really enjoyed the falls and surrounding park. There is a parking lot and facilities (they weren't open when we were there). I think it was well worth our stop to explore.‬

‪Small but Beautiful‬

‪This is a small gem in Valdese. The parking lot is large, the walk to the falls is short and the old mill is a must see. It is a short visit but well worth the effort. It is clean and well maintained.‬

‪This would have been prettier in the later spring early summer when stuff is green. The falls are pretty tho. Some history going on. Glad some of the buildings are left standing. ‬
