Handig overal rondom het centrum parkeren. Ook diverse minder valide parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar. Het is een veelzijdige markt, rondom de kerk in het centrum. Barretjes, winkels enz. Ook goed te doen met rolstoel. Het is niet heuvelachtig! Misschien is het wel heel druk in het hoogseizoen, maar in het naseizoen prima!

If you are near here it is well worth a visit. Loads of stalls with food clothes and also a lovely little bar to stop off for a drink

We have found that the street markets of Majorca are somewhat smaller, and perhaps less frequented that we have seen over our many years visiting the island. The market at Andratx is still a very good one, though i think it is less grand than it has been. It is nevertheless still one of the better markets on the island. Yes, the goods on offer are still the same, but there is a good feeling about traipsing through the streets, while browsing the stalls. Its all the usual fare on offer, with some fruit and veg stalls thrown in. Just being in this beautiful little town in itself is quite relaxing. We visit the market just about every time we are on the island, and i haven't encountered anything on this visit that will stop me coming back. Good value items for sale, amongst the usual tatt, but be sure to haggle on the price, its part of the fun.

Kedeligt, de kunne have nøjes med 10 boder så var udvalget repræsenteret.

Read before travelling that the market was a must visit. It is held on Wednesday's and there is (supposedly) a bus from Palma Nova (service 811) I was staying in Santa Ponsa and waited 30 minutes but bus didn't show so got a taxi with another two people who were staying in same hotel (17 euro so ok) When arrived the market was a huge disappointment with very few stalls. True it was February so may be better in season but don't bother going otherwise.

There were some local stalls, but mainly it was the usual touristy tat. Leather bags, belts and women's clothing

Standaard markt met 80% van hetzelfde kleding schoen en riemen.

The market is quite quaint. It has 3 main areas. We got there at 11.30 which was too late really as the stalls start to pack up at 12.45. We got a taxi there and a bus back to Santa Ponsa. There were a few waiting at the main bus stop but the bus was huge so all fitted no problem. The market was around 50% ladies clothing and 20% leather goods and hand bags. The rest is a mix of pottery, fruit, cheese, sunglasses and jewelry etc.
Tip: id say go early so you can look at leisure and allow 2 to 3 hours plus stop off for a coffee time.

This is quite a busy market, we went on Wednesday when the market is in full swing, lots of stalls selling arts, crafts, clothes, kitchen ware, shoes, purses, belts, souvenirs and so much more.
As with most Spanish market stalls you have to haggle a bit and to be fair it's fun and gets you talking with the locals
