We stayed here one night in an RV with our dog. Simple check in and electricity plug + water. They have showers and washroom that are styles like gym looker rooms. We have no complaints and for the price I feel like it can’t be beat (29$).

The staff was extremely helpful in providing information about the area and the park. We used the much needed laundry and were so happy it was available to us.

The best thing about this campground is its location. It’s within walking distance of Alma and the Bay of Fundy. It’s been around awhile and shows it’s age but when our sewer hookup didn’t work, they refunded that night’s stay and fixed it the next day (we arrived late on Sunday afternoon). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

After camping for two weeks throughout Nova Scotia and staying in both provincial and national parks we were accustomed to great support and today we were disappointed with the unfriendly service at The Bay of Fundy National Park. As it was off season for travellers we anticipated the front desk agent to provide more helpful details at the main information headquarters. The curt responses made us think the agent was tired of her job. (If management reads these posts and is responsive to coaching moments we were in attendance around 4pm today - and if you have cameras I was wearing the orange rain jacket). As a result of this agent’s responses we drove into Alma to speak with the gas jockey for local info-who offered great info BTW.
Our national parks are costly for Canadian tax-payers for good reason. Kindly ensure that the staff provide a warm welcome to those who visit our parks and encourage them to save robotic responses for Siri.

The park is very pretty. Stayed in the Headquarters campground right along the bay. There is a nice pool. The sites are all pull thru yet lined up right along the next site. The bathrooms need work. There was only one shower in each bathroom. The one we used would not drain, so we ended up standing in about 4 inches of water with random people’s hair floating in yet. Yuck!

Great place to stay for adventures. We only stayed one night. Old trees give shade. Walking distance to Alma. Only the bathroom could be renovated . Clean, but not the newest.

We were in a Class B campervan and site #98 that we were given was a wide site and level (30 amp and water) with bathhouse a short walk away. Hot showers and clean bathhouse and a laundry behind. There are central kitchen areas if you are in a tent. No individual campfires but there are communal firepits.
First night we were there we walked down steps (fairly steep) to the road into the little town of Alma for supper.

Good place to stay. Sites are back in with only 30 amp and water. There is a dump if you need it. Sites are mostly level and spacious. Nice amenities. The drawback is NO communication. You cannot even get a cell signal. There is internet available at the Visitors Center and in town. Absolutely beautiful!

Call ahead for facility status such as biking trails, the swimming pool, and golf course etc. Fundy National Park does not update the website and these may not be open. We arrived on June 26, 2017 and the much trumpeted heated salt water swimming pools was under construction and would not be open for at least 2 more weeks. The web site never mentioned this, the camping confirmations never mentioned this, and the check-in people never mentioned it. We found out only when we rode our bikes with our kids to the pool and it was empty with construction fencing up. We had to actually go back and ask what was going on. It was hugely disappointing. The park manager never made any effort to discount our stay or compensate us in any way. Despite a very steady stream of questions and complaints by arriving families like ourselves it still took the whole week to update the website.

A standard National Park campground sites are good size with little separation. Most sites are fairly level and graveled, some have utilities some don't. They also have tents and yurts available. Grounds were neat and clean bathrooms and showers were also clean. Staff was friendly.

We are camping at Pointe Wolf in August and my husband is interested in trail rides. Can you suggest some good rides, not too technical. Also, just want to make sure dogs are welcome.

We take our Lab mix dog on all trails. A few trails have stairs and for some dogs perhaps that is a problem. My list of my must do trails are: Dickson Falls (easy/short/stairs), Moosehorn returning on Laverty Falls (steep in spots, follows river/falls, nice spots to dip in water, one short section feels like an animal trail more than a proper trail, pack a lunch...this is a really nice trail...especially on warm days....go first thing in the morning since in the afternoon it will be more crowded), Coppermine (steep areas, interesting if you like history/rocks), ShipHaven (easy, short, beautiful coastal scenery), Caribou Plains (easy, short, boardwalk, keep eye out for moose).
Hope you enjoy your vacation. Another must do....get sticky buns from Kelly's bakery in Alma along with homemade baked beans.
