Magical experience!
Caesar is a passionate guide to the cause and animals. He knew how to explain and teach us a lot.
We were able to meet many species and discover their stories.
It is an AUTHENTIC, exciting, and small group activity.

Amazing experience. Really enjoyed every moment of our session. Cesar is such a great guy and so knowledgable about the area and habitat. The four hours flew by! Love the fact that it’s small groups too so lots of interaction.
Learning about the work the sanctuary does to reintegrate and repopulate was inspiring. It’s so obvious how much they care.
Also, we were followed around the tour by Teresa the Coati who had previously been rescued and released. Made our day! She’s so naughty!
The swim in the beautiful cenote and the amazing honey tasting from the stingless bees was the cherry on the top.
I would highly recommend people visiting. Love to all who work at the sanctuary.

Our most beautiful experience during our stay in Mexico 🇲🇽 if you are looking for an ETIQUE activity to discover the fauna and flora of this beautiful country is what you need!
Thanks again to Caesar our super guide who is really a passionate and animal lover. He took the time to introduce us to all the animals and the reason for their presence on the site. There were also lots of wild monkeys that we could see with little ones which was really cool.
We ended our visit with a swim in a beautiful underground cenotes which is private for each group of visitors

Exceeded expectations!!! Caesar our guid was incredibly knowledgeable and patient! We scheduled this as a break from water activities and it was easily our families favorite adventure in Akumal! It was amazing to see so many animals in their natural habitat, and the cenote experience at the end was a cherry on top! Highly recommend!!! We will be back!

Went on the 3pm tour with our adult children. Caesar clearly loves his job, the animals and the environment. He was enthusiastic and informative. We all had our favorite parts; the animals (of course), the Mayan massage (truck ride through the jungle), the Cenote, the bees. It was a four hour tour but it went by so fast. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended local tour if you are staying in Akumal (fwiw, we walked from Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness - only 40min or so). Cesar was a great guide, informative, kept things entertaining, pretty good english as well so no language barriers. You are able to get up close and personal with most of the animals, especially the baby coati (which was the highlight for me as he followed us everywhere and did all he could to get into trouble!) The swim at the end was a great way to cool down as well. Appreciative as well giving us a ride back in town for the heat of the day. Price is more than reasonable and is helping a great cause. A++++

A beautiful tour conducted by our guide Caesar. I can only join the previous speakers. Authentic animal collection station which tries to release the animals back into the wild life. The accompanying cenote is beautiful and we had this to ourselves. We were even lucky enough to observe wild monkeys directly above our heads. Absolutely thrilling! More attention should be paid to the rescue and work of the people there. An unforgettable experience!

We are wanting to go to akumal natura rescue in November 2022 when we visit My question is do we have to book in advance or can we just show up at the meeting place ?? Thanx jtleos 🇨🇦

Estimado Danny, gracias por su interés en nuestro Experiencia.
Consiste en conocer y aprender de la fauna silvestre, tenemos mas de 23 especies de la región y tienen la peculiaridad de que han sido rescatados. Al final del recorrido tiene la oportunidad de refrescarse en un cenote de caverna precioso y de aguas cristalinas. Toda la experiencia tiene una duración de 3 1/2 horas y se hace en los horarios de 10 am y 3 p.,
El costo de recuperación es de 800 pesos por persona, los niños menores a 5 años no pagan.
El punto de encuentro es en Akumal Natura Glamping, (google maps) Esperamos nos pueda visitar.
