‪This was our third visit to Akumal Natura Rescue. It is our favorite thing to do when we vacation in Akumal. We love earning about all the animals. It is inspiring how passionate Akumal Natura Rescue is about caring for the animals. Chris was a great tour guide and very insightful, passionate, and knowledgeable. The cenote at the end of the tour is our favorite cenote to visit. We love learning about the Mayan bees and always get some honey to take home with us. Akumal Natura is a must-do when visiting Akumal!‬

‪Een heerlijke ochtend‬

‪Super tof om een stukje wildlife te zien in Mexico, waar de mensen die er werken het beste met de dieren voor hebben! Een fijne gids met een vlotte Engelse babbel en tot slot een heerlijke duik in een geweldige cenote! Beter je geld hier uitgeven, dan aan het snorkelen met de schildpadden!‬

Es maravilloso que tu experiencia en México haya sido placentera ya que nuestro deber en este planeta es cuidar de los animales y de la vida misma que nos rodea. Todo el personal que laboramos nos encanta el lugar y sin duda alguna nuestra pasión y amor por los animales es lo primero. ‪Wir können diese Tour nur jedem empfehlen. Denn mit eurem Eintritt unterstützt ihr Tiere, die unsere Menschheit zu dem gemacht hat was Sie jetzt sind. Ein Falke oder ein Affe sind Wildtiere und keine Haustiere. Wie sich dort um die Tiere gekümmert wird ist ein absoluter Traum. Cesar ist einfach nur TOP. Wie man mit so viel Herzblut seinen Job betreiben kann ist echt Wahnsinn. ‬

Es ist großartig zu hören, dass du diese Tour empfehlen kannst und dass sie dazu beiträgt, Tiere zu unterstützen, die unsere Welt so besonders machen. Die artgerechte Pflege von Wildtieren ist sehr wichtig, und es klingt nach einer wunderbaren Erfahrung. Cesar scheint wirklich ein bemerkenswerter Führer zu sein, der seinen Beruf mit Leidenschaft ausübt. Vielen Dank für deine positive Rückmeldung!

‪We weren’t exactly sure what we would be doing on this adventure. We actually thought we were booking at the monkey sanctuary. WOW we were so glad we accidentally booked with this rescue. It was far more incredible and interesting than we had imagined. Our tour guide was very informative and friendly. Our kids and I had the best time here. It was great to watch and learn about how they rescue and release the animals. We were able to interact with MANY of them as well. When you go be sure to pack a swim suit and bug spray as the mosquitoes were pretty bad but they also have some on site you can purchase. We took a swim in the cenot and it was breath taking and a lot of fun! Also be prepared for a very bumpy ride over to visit the animals. Also, pack water to drink or snacks as it’s a long tour. Recommended 10/10 and when we go back to visit Mexico we will definitely be doing this again. ‬

The best experiences happen when you least expect them. They are words that encourage us to move forward, they are words that let us fall and give us strength to continue with our work. There are things that are not in our hands to control such as mosquitoes since like all animals they live in the jungle and are part of the food chain. Thank you very much to you and your family for taking the opportunity to meet us and for giving yourself the opportunity to spend a wonderful day in the jungle. ‪Wow... dat beschrijft de ervaring het best. We hadden een fantastische tour met ontzettend veel informatie en kennis. Alle vragen die we stelden werden kundig en enthousiast beantwoord. De gids maakte er een bijzondere, persoonlijke ervaring van voor ons. De cenote waar je in zwemt is prachtig en zo rustgevend! Proef ook zeker de honing, die is zo lekker! Alle opbrengsten uit de tour komen overigens ten goede aan het rescue center. De liefdevolle en vooral respectvolle omgang met de dieren was prijzenswaardig. Goede educatie en het goede voorbeeld geven!‬

¡Tus palabras suena como una experiencia increíble! Es fantástico saber que su guía tenía tanto conocimiento y entusiasmo y que todas las preguntas fueron respondidas bien y con profesionalismo. Los fondos recaudados son para el beneficio al centro de rescate es un compromiso encomiable. Es importante que los animales sean tratados con respeto para que algún día estos animales puedan regresar donde pertenecen, a la jungla y en libertad. ¡Gracias por compartir tu experiencia positiva y tu recomendación!

‪The cenote is amazing, a must see! Very educational and informative tour learning about the animals and the true love they have for rescuing/rehabilitate the animals! Be sure to purchase some honey to help support them. It has a unique flavor, nothing like I have had before! Wonderful experience all around! Ceasar does an amazing job with the tours!‬

We are glad that you had a wonderful and valuable time at the animal rescue and rehabilitation center. The fact that you can support us by purchasing honey is a special way to contribute to their cause and to the indigenous people who support us by taking care of the Melipona bees. Honey from the Melipona bee adds a sweet and special touch to your trip. I hope this adventure left lasting memories for you and your family!

‪Nous avons passés un très bon moment, Cesar, notre guide était super sympa. Il nous a transmis sa passion pour tout les animaux présents dans le parc. Ils ont tous été sauvés et reçoivent beaucoup d'amour. Ils ont également des abeilles Melipona qui font un miel juste délicieux que l'on peut acheter à la fin ;-) Nous avons pu découvrir deux cénotes magnifiques, Nous avons notamment nagés dans l'une d'elle. C'était un moment magique juste à deux avec le guide :-) Dix fois mieux que la Cénote de IK KIL près de Chichen Itza qui est remplies de personnes et hyper touristique!
Allez à Akumal Natura Rescue si vous rechercher un moment authentique et en plus vous apportez votre contribution à leur association.

We are glad to know that you had an incredible time at Akumal Natura Rescue. It is inspiring to know that you have understood our work on these rescued animals who receive a lot of love and care. The best part is taking care of our melipona bees which are very important to the world since without them we would not have one of the main pollinators and thanks to them we eat the best fruit, thanks to their great work in pollination. We hope you have more amazing adventures in the future!

‪Must-visit if you love animals and nature!‬

‪Akumal Rescue is a wonderful place that helps abandoned / abused animals to recover and repopulate. The tour with César on my birthday was amazing. You could feel his passion for the nature and animals and he shared so much knowledge with us. Definitely recommend to go there - no touristic place, they put so much energy in their important work and use the entrance fee for their rescue center. Cenote swim in the end was a highlight.
Should be prepared for a lot of moscitos (especially in rainy times).‬

‪Realizamos la visita de la mañana con Cesar, nos trato estupendamente y nos explico muchas cosas, se nota que le gusta lo que hace y la funcion de donde trabaja.

Hay quien dice que es caro, (para mi la visita al centro no lo es) pero hay que tener en cuenta que estas ayudando a su causa y hacer que consigan financiación, desde lo visto en el glampíng hasta acabar en el cenote pasando por todo el centro de reinsercion fue una gran experiencia, además comimos alli y compramos miel, todo 10/10.

Se nota que tienen ganas de mejorar y hacer la bien las cosas al final te dejan un cuestionario para que rellenes y les des tu opinion.‬

Nuestro equipo se esfuerza por brindar a los visitantes una experiencia educativa y enriquecedora. Entendemos que algunas personas puedan considerar que la tarifa de entrada es un poco elevada, pero como mencionaste, es importante destacar que contribuye directamente a nuestra causa y nos permite continuar con nuestra misión de rescate y rehabilitación de animales, así como la conservación de la naturaleza local. Apreciamos mucho tu apoyo y comprensión en este aspecto.
