‪Excellent Ratings for a reason!‬

‪I contacted Portal Maya Day tours to take me and my four teenagers from Cancun to Chichen Itza. From there we visited friends in Valladolid and then returned to Cancun. This was a 9 hour day. Throughout the booking, they were timely in their responses and turned out to be be the most economical.
Our driver, Jose, was there at the scheduled time with a wonderful van. He accomodated all of our requests, delivering excellent service at a competitive rate.
I was skeptical that they could have so many excellent ratings. Now I know why...great service at reasonable rate. I highly recommend you consider using Portal Maya Day Tours.‬

‪Used this service to transport family members from Cancun Airport to Valladolid and used them again for the return. On time, fair pricing, spotless van, safe driving and flexible schedule which permitted time for meals and breaks. I won´t use anyone else.‬

‪Jose and Ariadne were always on time and very patient with all of our varied personalities or when our group was running late. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions to highlight the best times and places to eat, shop and visit. Also very considerate of our day trips and possible important pit stops along the way such as a bathroom or snack breaks. Their vehicles were comfortable and clean. I felt safe as a passenger and to leave valuables in their vans while we were out exploring. Thank You Jose and Ariadne for exceptional customer service.‬

‪A Perfect Transportation Solution‬

‪We like planning our excursions for ourselves and our clients and require transportation that is punctual, has solid comfortable equipment and is flexible, with good communications in English. Portal Maya checks all the boxes! For airport transfer and day-trips they can't be beat (we asked other operators & they couldn't match Portal Maya service). Owner/operators Ariadne and Jose helped solve arrival pick-up problems and potential glitches in our day-schedules, recommended appropriate restaurants on the fly and pointed out opportunities we may have otherwise missed. They responded to changes of all kinds with understanding grace and patience and never passed a rest-room without asking if anyone was in need. The vans were comfortable and the A/C worked very well, a real necessity in the Yucatan climate! Great care was extended by Portal Maya to ensure clients arrived at the proper terminals on time for their return flights-not all that easy with clients leaving on both national and international carriers at greatly varying times. We look forward to travelling with Ariadne and Jose again & again.‬

‪Jose was an amazing guide for our week-long trip to the Yucatan. He had insightful tips, dealt with a lot of personalities without blinking an eye, was prompt and easygoing. Would 100% use him again -- in fact hoping he can take my mom around the area later this week!‬

‪World Class Guide: best of the best!‬

‪José was our guide for a week long adventure. I have traveled all over the world and he is the best of the best: deeply knowledgeable about culture, sights ( the big one and the most rare ones), food and history. He goes above and beyond and I cannot recommend him enough. He shares his love of the Yucatan so the experience feels very special and customized to your preferences. He is full of amazing suggestions. yes, José!! Muchas Gracias.‬

‪José knows everywhere and everyone, all his vehicles and drivers are stellar, and he might even save your life (long story). He's also a great photographer! We had a really tricky group logistically and there wasn't even the slightest snag. Thanks José!‬

‪José was so kind and always made sure that we got above and beyond what our class expected on the trip. When we reached the Cancun airport on our day to head home, we were more sad to leave José than the country. Would love to visit Yucatan and José again!!!‬
