Nel corso di un tour organizzato abbiamo avuto la possibilità di visitare velocemente Valladolid.
La piazza centrale è il cuore della città, ove si respira il profumo della cultura tipica della Yucatan tramite l'architettura, i colori e la gente del posto.

è la piazza principale di valladolid, tappa direi obbligatoria se si passa dalla città; il parco non è grandissimo, ma ci sono panchine molto particolari :-); bella anche la vista sulla chiesa; presenti svariati negozi di souvenir a prezzi turistici, ma tutto sommato convenienti se paragonati con altri; secondo me il giro di questa zona merita non oltre 30/40 minuti (+ eventualmente qualche decina di minuti per shopping)

Le cœur de la ville coloniale, où se déroulent de nombreuses manifestations, avec plusieurs lieux à visiter tout proche. Tout en restant très cool, c'est particulièrement animé en début de soirée, avec de la musique et des stands de "marquesitas" et autres choses. Vraiment authentique. Valladolid a été , par ailleurs, notre coup de coeur de notre tour de 3 semaines de la péninsule du Yucatan.

Park v centru Valladolid, místo kam si chodí místní i turisté odpočinout. V parku je několik stánků kde se dají koupit nějaké pochutiny. V parku jsou také typické bílé židličky. V těsném sousedství kostel sv.Servace a řada restaurací. Při naší návštěvě jsme viděli představení folklóru. Zda je to zde běžné netuším, protože jsme ve Villarealu ztravili pouze jedno odpoledne a noc při naší tour.

grande place avec des vendeurs, de la musique le soir, juste en face de l'église. A voir en journée et le soir car c'est différent. Et pour une jolie vue, vous avez le restaurant rooftof santa maria de la luz

Piazza centrale con parco, come del resto la norma in Messico. Questa piazza in particolare si fa apprezzare per l'eleganza delle cancellate, dei muretti e delle panchine in ferro. Si coglie una certa cura ai dettagli e una estrema pulizia. Si respira l'autentica atmosfera da cittadina coloniale, con palazzi colorati e portici. Immancabile presenza: la cattedrale, qui attorniata da palme per chiudere la cornice della piazza.

Bonita plaza principal de Valladolid con una fuente en el centro, puestos de comidas típicas en los laterales y, lo más pintoresco en mi opinión, bancos de colores con el escudo del lugar o enfrentados de acuerdo a las antiguas tradiciones.

We stopped at the Valladolid main town square on our way back from visiting Chichen Itza.
Here you’ll see a church, a small park with water fountain and many sellers offering souvenirs and snacks. Don't miss seeing the conversation chairs for two(one of the attractions in the town square park). Try marquesitas and churos..they were yummy!
We only had 30mnts and was not sufficient. Just walking around the square, you can easily spend a couple hours. I am sure there are several other places you can explore nearby including the cenotes. I would plan for the entire day when visiting Valladolid next time.

Be sure to take your time visiting this busy-yet-quiet parque in the center of Valladolid. Treat yourself to a small coconut ice cream cone while relaxing on a bench or one of the interesting double chairs.

By the time our bus stopped at Plaza e Parque Principal Francisco Canton Rosado, Villadolid, our group was guessing how much $$ the tour guide and company get for stopping the tour bus there. This was the last stop back to the resort on the Viatar tour, and we were tired, and still had a long bus ride ahead of us. As others have shared, there was nothing special here, and very few businesses around the square were even catering to tourist. I wonder if the tour guide (and bus driver) like to stop there, so that their riders use a toilet other than the one on the bus. The tour guide told us early that morning, that ‘going number one was ok, but do not go number two ‘ on the bus toilet. So, I can report that the ‘public bathrooms’ on the Plaza e Parque Principal Francisco Canton Rosado, looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or flushed in days.
