“‪Steep walk and hard to understand guide‬”

‪إنه مرتبة في الكهوف، ولكن لا أملك قد خاب للغاية إذا كنت لا نرى بلو جون. لم الأطفال تحت سن 6 في الكهف. يوجد ما يزيد على 200 خطوة وهى كبيرة وزلقة. المرشد كان لا بأس بها، ولكن تحدثنا سريعة جدا إذا كنت لا الأصلية Brit. المتجر يوفر الكثير من غير المعلومة من أجزاء أخرى من العالم، ولكن لا يوجد الكثير بلو جون.‬

‪السير إلى الأسفل إلى سلسلة من الكهوف تنقلك إلى عالم أخر، ومرشد خبير من للترفيه مثيرة. تشمل هذه الجولة أكثر من 200 خطوات رطبة، لذا لا ينبغي أن يكون أمرا سهلا. هناك رحلات خلال اليوم حتى 4:00 مساءً. ومما يؤسف له أن مرافق فوق سطح الأرض الأساسية إلى حد ما ويمكن أن التحديث.‬

‪The caves where beautiful, and had some amazing history that we where told extensively about, in a quick manner. The tour guide, Nigel, was very kind, chatty, and had a lot of information to share. I thoroughly suggest that you come here, trust me, you’ll have a nice time.‬

‪Family ticket £50. A little bit pricey‬

‪George was a great guide, very informative. I felt like the tour was a little hurried to my leisure as I wish for more time just to absorb all it beauty.
All in all great day out. One for the bucket list. Also the drive to the Cavan is amazing!‬

‪We just tried to get somewhere near the cavens to try and buy something in remembrance of my parents and due to horrendous parking got stuck in the wav only to be abused by other drivers when my wav wouldn't fit through the space ‬

‪Visited whilst staying in Hollingsclough. Nigel was very knowledgeable about the cave and was willing and able to answer everyone’s questions.‬

‪I got sold something horrible‬

‪It started off good we had a tour around the cave but then we went in the shop after and bought a dr pepper and m&ms. My m&Ms were 4 days out of date and I still got sold them without warning. Don't buy the m&ms! 😭‬

‪Hope you visit Blue John too.‬

‪I can’t rate out visit highly enough. Our guide George was knowledgeable and very friendly. Our tour felt safe and well organised. Safety is obviously a high priority and the mine is well lit throughout. There are plenty of advice about people that should be careful as there 200 plus steps to reach the 6 (or was it 60) billion years ago level. I asked loads of questions including does Blue John have a taste in its raw state and why did they stop mining where they did and not dog in just a foot or two deeper. If you want to know how the mine got it’s name you’ll just have to visit Blue John yourself.
You will not regret it.‬

‪Deep down experience - not to be missed.‬

‪Our guide was George. He is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and encouraged questions. Our group consisted of 7 adults, 1 young child and one very young child. The cavern is fascinating and with George as a guide enlightening. I loved it and would highly recommend a visit. We parked up the hill from the cavern as I understood that car parking on site was limited. I would recommend parking nearby and walking down the gentle slope to the cavern. We enjoyed a coffee and snack while waiting for the next tour to start.
Thanks again to all the staff.

‪We had a really good time. We went on the last tour of the day an it was just me, the wife an the kids and Nigel made it really special for us all, he’s an absolute gentleman. The kids loved it and found it all really fascinating. All the staff were really friendly as well. Id highly recommend a visit.‬

‪Visiting with children‬

‪We brought our four boys today and we’re really impressed. Nigel was not only extremely knowledgeable but entertaining too! I explained one of our children is autistic and may struggle but that he wanted to go down anyway. Nigel was wonderful in supporting him when he became anxious and slightly distressed.

A huge shout out to Nigel as he completely turned around our visit by being kind! Would highly recommend. Thanks so much! ‬

‪Parking was a nightmare, and was very busy, we did luckily get a space.
We paid £17 pp (adult), lots of steps and slopes inside, so I would suggest, good walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, and gloves (holding onto metal rails).
The tour Guide Ryan was very informative and relatable and didn't mind people asking questions, tour is approximately 45 minutes. ‬
