The kids loved seeing the tanks and the information was quite interesting. Plenty of room to run around and easy to get to.

Visited on Wednesday 12th September. As we wondered around Cooktown we stopped to have a look at this memorial to those who fought in the two World Wars.

The entrance is very nice. The two tanks on display are well maintained. For a small community it's a nice little park display. Also has public toilets that have nice mural

After recommendation from the staff at Cooktown History Centre, short walk down to the park.
Nicely laid out, with the musical ship, Cook memorial. Nice trees with plenty of shade

We made a quick visit here to the Cooktown War memorial whilst on our organised tour and thought it worthwhile.

The park is in the middle of town with toilets. There two tanks on display, an APC and a Leapod tank.

ANZAC Park is well presented with a troop carrier and Leopard tank to enhance the memorial stones and flagpole and names of veterans. The park was clean and tidy and the entrance off the main street well and truly caught your eye.

A great park to remember those who have helped keep our countries free. Very nice to spend a bit of time here, see the artifacts and the Leopard Tank.
