I couldn't find much to see in shillong. The only highlight was the ward's lake.
Near and clean lake. It's basically a huge garden with a lake in the centre. So you definitely need 1-2 hours here.
Go for the boat ride here. Walk around the park as it's very scenic and beautiful. Once you are tired there is a cafe inside the lake. It offers yummy food options. It's a must visit.

Well maintained lake. A great place to go for a walk or a wedding photo shoot. It's beautiful. A great place to relax in Shillong. It's a good place for kids to play and learn about different trees and plants.

In the center of the city very close to Police Bazar. Very pleasant to walk around the lake. Few eateries outside selling yummy Momo & Panipuri . Entry fee Rs 20/ -

My wife and I and some friends (British, American, Belgian and Dutch) walked around here and met many groups of very friendly, relaxed people who were happy to converse. A very peaceful place in the middle of a very highly trafficked city, a nice refuge for some quiet reflection

It's a beautiful lake in the city of Shillong. Generally opens at 8 a.a. for the visitors but the locals can walk in early morning for morning walk. It's worth visiting this lake.

The entry fees are very affordable for this huge lake view. The scenic view of this lake is mesmerising. The place is also very peaceful and you can just sit there and enjoy yourself.

Yet another beautiful lake of Meghalaya. Quite picturesque. We reached there quite late; I wish we were there at least an hour earlier.
Boating here is quire a pleasing and serene experience. YOU will get to experience not only the trees around but also the swans and various ducks freely swimming in the lake, One shouldn't also miss the walk by the side of the lake.,
One can easliy spend a couple of hours in this highly romantic and serene place.

Calm and serene. Made for a wonderful morning. Ambience is great. Boating options available. Plastic bottles have to be deposited outside as this is a plastic free zone !
Surprisingly a 50% concession in the entrance fees is given to senior citizens if they carry appropriate proof of age.

Family fun place to peddle boat in the lake and picnic. Plastic free zone so carry water in a glass bottle. Enjoyed with family.

Nice Park in the heart of city with lot of green lawns, flowers and benches. It has got good jogging track. The park is well maintained and worth a visit.
