Great day, crew were friendly and fun. Felt totally safe and they explained everything that would happen. Dicnt mind answering questions.
Perfect landing.
Vertically challenged may struggle a little getting in and out of basket, but it all adds to the fun.

Had a wonderful and exciting trip,myself and my Grandson thoroughly enjoyed it,I found it a bit awkward getting in and out of the basket but I am 91 and the crew helped me ,wasn't able to help packing up but everyone seemed to enjoy that.Thanks to the wonderful Pilot and Crew.Well worth waiting for.

What a wonderful experience! We were very lucky having only had one flight cancelled due to poor weather and booking this a couple of days in advance, knowing the weather looked good. We were due to go from Biggleswade but went from the backup site of Little Gransden, which was easy enough to find. I hadn't quite appreciated that we'd be helping get the balloon up and put away afterwards, it's quite hard work but was fine.
Our pilot Kerry was excellent, very professional and regular updates about where we were, how high etc. The wind had picked up a bit so he had his work cut out finding somewhere to land and we bounced a bit and the basket tipped over but it was quite good fun, my 11 year old loved it!
After the flight and packing the balloon away, we had prosecco (or soft drinks) and were handed certificates. Having heard of other people with multiple cancelled flights I'd recommend booking as soon as you can and keep rebooking asap after a cancelled flight in order to get up, it really was wonderful!

A superb experience, very smooth and enjoyable ride across Hertfordshire. After 3 years of cancellations due to unsuitable weather and then Covid, we got to fly today as conditions were perfect. The crew got all involved with unpacking and setting up the balloon, as well as helping to pack it away at the end of the flight. Then prossecco, orange juice and certificates given out.

DO NOT book this experience if you are hoping for a surprise gift for a loved one, the odds are too small to leave to chance
You have 3 months in a year (during winter) where you cannot book
You have to book weeks in advance, with little guarantee of success
I spent £315 UPFRONT, with no chance of a refund, and am committed to attempt to book weeks in advance for a booking.. If that fails you have an extension to your ticket validity.. Just keep remembering to book
After the winter months are over DON'T FORGET TO BOOK!.. I did.. i then had to pay £80, before they would extend/upgrade my ticket to a 7 day one
Even then, I get failed flights on the day.. again, my ticket expired.. THEY THEN WANTED A FURTHER £160 to extend my ticket!!!
In essence you get worn down.. with the constant attempts to book.. and they POCKET YOUR MONEY, with no chance of a refund until you just plain give up!!
I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE TRADING STANDARDS ASSOCIATION, as this is unethical behaviour for a trusted company. You have a 1 year ticket, weeks before a booking can be taken, you pay £300+ upfront, with a chance that you will get nothing for it..
An elaborate way for Virgin to earn interest on your money while you struggle to get the flight you paid for. A thoroughly disappointing service, their customer service people have to have a thick skin, and must be a very depressing place to work.

This is a one off experience and It didn't fail to standup to what I thought it would be like.

Such a great balloon flight from Little Gransden towards Cambridge. So peaceful over beautiful countryside. Our pilot Kerry and team Colin, Donna and Colin were brilliant. Pointing all the points of interest. Really amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Got bought this as a Birthday present over 4 years ago and still waiting to actually have the balloon ride. Have lost count how many times this has now been booked and cancelled, wasting numerous Holiday days from work. I get that the weather can't be helped but over 4 years it's now getting stupid. Is annoying having also looked at Huntington's Virgin Balloon trips, reading their reviews if it gets cancelled there is an alternative location you can be offered. Us however booking in Biggleswade have never been offered this in the 4 years of cancelations. We could get a refund but you don't even get your full amount refunded... there's an admin charge taken! Ridiculous! Not only that, this was a gift from my Grandad, I would love to have photos to show him from what should have been an amazing gift he gave. Maybe one day but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Sorry to hear the weather hasn't been on your side and you haven't yet managed to fly with us.
As with all of our launch sites, Biggleswade does have back-up launch sites the same way Huntingdon does, which are used to increase the chances of a booked flight going ahead.
Sometimes the weather might not be flyable from your original booked launch site but if conditions were suitable from one of our back-up sites, we will move your flight. However, if the conditions on a given day are not flyable from either the main launch site or the back-up(s), we have no choice but the cancel the flight.
Four years is an unusually long time to have been waiting for your flight and we would like to take a look at your account and see if there is anything we can do to help you get in the air.
Could you please give our customer service team a call on 01952 212750 and we will be happy to assist however we can.

I loved this - It was a birthday present. Me and my other half tried to book once before but my granddad became poorly and we couldn't go, the customer service team were great and just asked us to produce evidence that we were in hospital - which we did then we were able to re book and we got on a flight the very next week. The weather was great and our pilot Kerry and his team were fantastic. It last for about an hour and we got a great sense of freedom being up there and being so open. We helped inflate the balloon at the start and then pack it up again after. I would do this experience again and thoroughly enjoyed the whole morning.

We have had two balloon flights and I am in danger of being addicted to this. Friendly staff get everyone involved in preparation of the balloon for flight and in the packing away onto the vehicle after landing.
