Very friendly staff that is both helpful and knowledgeable!

Lots of memorabilia and interesting stuff for young kids!

Also replica of Cody’s plane is really impressive and worth paying it a visit. Really recommended on a good weather day!‬

‪Excellent informative history of aviation.‬
أكتوبر 2021
‪As a former apprentice at The RAE Farnborough 1978 intake. When I finally left the RAE in 1990 it was with some sadness. I really wanted to have a look around the FAST Museum to experience the history and importance of Farnborough. There is plenty of free parking next to the museum and entrance is free. There is an excellent team of volunteers who work here and a donation when you leave towards costs etc is greatly appreciated. One thing that struck me straightway was the aircraft outside were actually aircraft I had worked on when I was her as a Non Destructive Testing Engineer (NDT). Aircraft registration "383" and "566" brought back real memories for me, especially when I used to slide in and out of the Jaguar intakes and Hunter tailpipe to perform inspections. Alas those days have gone.

Inside Trenshard House there is plenty to see and view which my father-in-law and myself really enjoyed. The story and history of aviation is highlighted in brilliant informative display areas. In the metallurgy area I enjoyed viewing failed items found due to fatigue cracking etc which brought back memories. We were only at the museum for a couple of hours which is ample time to see all on display. Upstairs is also a small coffee bar area which we nipped in and sampled. This museum is certainly worth a visit and is excellent for families.‬

‪An unexpectedly awesome couple of hours!‬
سبتمبر 2021
‪Great place to visit for 2 or 3 hours. Loads of historical items to see, and of course, everyone's favourite aircraft, the legendary Harrier which unusually still has it's engine in it...ahhhhh...unfortunately still can't sit in the cockpit (one day!), due to..well you know what! Staff very knowledgeable and only too happy to chat, and if you talk nicely to the 'lightning guy', you may get a glimpse of the cockpit.‬

‪Love aircraft history, this is for you.‬

‪Great visit and the guides on hand all love to talk about the aircraft. See a model of the world's first airplane. When Covid regulations subsides enough simulators to satisfy most enthusiasts.‬

‪If you are into aircraft this is for you.‬
سبتمبر 2019
‪Allow plenty of time if you are into Aircraft history, development and up to present day. No entry price but donations appreciated. The volunteer staff know their facts and with models and a good number of real aircraft around the museum is well worth the visit. Not open every day so check before going. Car parking space and a souvenir shop and teashop.

Located under the flight path near the end of the Farnborough Airfield runway, an active airport for Executive planes, small and large..‬

‪Tour of F.A.S.T‬
مارس 2020
‪What a wonderful tour of the F.A.S.T. museum in Farnborough. A diamond that is missed by most locals but what a treat. The place is run entirely by volunteers - I was amazed by their knowledge and experience. They made us feel so welcome. We were there for 2 hours but barely skimmed the surface of the heritage they are custodians of. Thank you so much for looking after us.‬

‪Awesome aviation and superb science‬
فبراير 2020
‪What a brilliant little museum! I loved the eclectic mix of aircraft science memorabilia. The enthusiastic staff were on hand to explain everything, including exactly how Whittle's earliest jet engine works. The replica of Cody's airplane was superb and the audio recording of his first flight in it (spoiler alert: it's very short!) really brought the exhibit to life. It's free to enter - donations encouraged.‬
