With regards to the sculptures around the Garden, ‘Art in the Garden’ is a temporary selling exhibition running from September to December. Now in its 21st year it is a hugely popular part of our events calendar and as a charity hugely important for us to increase footfall and visibility outside of the summer months. There are 84 sculptures by renowned artists from across the UK, the work is in a variety of medias including marble, ceramic, bronze and polished steel, with prices from £200 - £24000. Art is very subjective and we are sorry this is something you did not enjoy, we do take care in the exhibitions curation to ensure there is something for everyone and with 180 acres it also encompasses just a small fraction of the landscape

Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased you enjoyed the Gardens and the Garden restaurant. Single members do have unlimited access and receive 3 complimentary guest passes to bring friends during the year. Joint members receive 3 each, 6 in total. The value of the guest passes alone equates to nearly the full cost of the membership itself. Additionally all children under the age of 17 are free to members, we also grant free entry or 2 for 1 entry to selected partner Gardens.

We’re so pleased your detour allowed you to enjoy a visit to the gardens. We’re sorry though that you didn’t feel there was enough choice of food. There are in fact three food areas to enjoy within the garden. The Courtyard cafe you visited provides light lunches and a selection of cakes, pastries and hot drinks while the Garden Restaurant is open for morning coffee, sit-down lunches or afternoon tea with a menu produced from a range of Hampshire-based food and drink. Finally the Tilia Tree cafe has a variety of hot and cold drinks, light meals, cakes and ice creams. Hopefully you will have the chance to visit us again.
