This is an incredible personal collection of Dr Who and sci-fi props and costumes. Nestled in a quirky building in Bromyard is a treasure trove of items relating to several iconic TV series.
My son, 8, is a massive Dr Who fan so the chance to get up close to some of the most famous Dr Who monsters was brilliant, every corner he turned was there was an excited inhale of breath! Original costumes from over the decades include several Daleks, Cybermen and other items a clothing worn by the main characters.
You can see that this collection has been brought together with a genuine love of these TV series and a want to share them with the public.
Sadly due to limited space many items are bunched together so there is a lot to take in but doesn’t take long to go around. It would be fantastic if people flock to this museum to give it a chance to move and expand!
Do check opening before you head over as due to it being run by one lovely guy, he has to close up occasionally for a wee! And take cash as there are no facilities to pay by card.
I was so taken with everything that I sadly forgot to take any photos!

So we visited Bromyard for a wedding over the weekend and discovered this gem was just down the road from where we were staying.
Now I'll never spoil everything because the mystery needs to be there of what you'll find but after visiting Cardiff years ago for the experience I didn't think I'd ever find anywhere like this again. If you enjoy your Sci-Fi such as Doctor Who, Star-Trek and many more this place is an absolute hit!
I truly loved walking through the winding corridors filled with genuine and original set pieces and props and of course getting up close with Daleks and Cybermen and even a few Star wars gems. I truly feel that I got my moneys worth and it was worth every single penny and would recommend this to anyone enthusiastic about these sort of shows.
The owner was friendly, accommodating and really shared his passion for the shows and it really was good to see someone creating something like this from a well loved hobby of his and after a long chat we felt like we'd known him for years.
TLDR: Definitely worth going places like this deserve the support completely

Visited with my daughter. Both of us love si fi in any form and enjoyed seeing the all the artifacts.
The entry fee was a surprise £10 each no reduction for oaps or children.
Not accessible or suitable for small children.

We wwre staying nearby for a family break, and most of us went. I think it was 5 adults and 5 kids. The kids enjoyed seeing the star wars bits and bobs, and those that had watched Dr Who loved those parts of the museum.
From my Point of view, as an old-time T sci-fi watcher, there was so much here to take in. From the entrance to the cellar through a TARDIS no less you descend rooms full of props from Dr Who, Star Wars, Captain Scarlet and Thunderbirds along with Red Dwarf and many mor the less interested a brist walk round the whole place will take 10 minutes.
I've recommended this to my sci-fi friends and if I'm in the neighbourhood again, I'll be popping back in to see what new exhibits they've picked up.

Fabulous place!
Really impressive collection (especially the Dr Who stuff) and good information on the displays. The guy that owns it is really friendly and has been building the collection for years. So good to find a place that's run because of a genuine love of the subject, and not purely for profit. Well worth the visit....really impressed!

A fantastic museum of Dr Who, Gerry Anderson, and other sci fi memorabilia. A dalek that says ‘exterminate’. Kryten from Red Dwarf!
It is down some narrow stairs, so not suitable for some disabled and they only take cash for the entrance. Chat to the owner, he is very knowledgable.
If you like Dr Who, then it’s worth going to this quirky museum to enter through a tardis.

Cracking little museum full of props, memorabilia and retro toys from Doctor Who and other sci-fi bits and bobs. Really interesting and it even has a ‘real’ tardis! Location and layout are great, it’s slightly creepy as the majority is in underground rooms and this makes it all the more special. Our 2 little dogs were allowed too, even if one of them was a little wary of K9…. Lovely owner who is obviously very proud of his collection and very knowledgeable too. Ace!

We spent a happy hour here looking at all the props used in a wide range of sci-fi programmes. Lots of Dr Who from all different eras but also Thunderbirds, Star Wars and Life on Mars.
Most are set up like scenes behind glass or railings that you can get really close to but not touch. But you do get to walk into the Tardis which we all really enjoyed. Great to be able to see all the detail on the Ood, Cybermen, Santaren etc.
Not the typical commercial multi-national museum. All much more low key and run by one individual. Most of the exhibits are down a steep set of stairs (solid handrail) and in the cellars below the shop. The darkness provides great backdrop for sci fi lighting and it is all very atmospheric. I'd suggest best for children aged 10+ who have seen a bit of Dr Who and so recognise Cybermen, Daleks etc.
It's in the town square with lots of cafes and pubs nearby.

It looks like a run down old shop from outside. Don't be deceived.
Through the door into a small "room" packed with wonderful stuff.
Through the TARDIS down to an amazing maze of underground rooms full of Sci-fi history.
Well worth a visit, or maybe two or three visits.

January 2022. My husband Pete took me to the sci fi museum today, as I am an avid fan of the Dalek's, the owner Andy was very informative about the exhibits from the 1960's Thunder Birds right through to Star Wars.
