It’s probably worth a visit for a few of the independent shops there - there are a couple of nice clothes shops and a bag shop, with lovely friendly owners. You can pick up things that you wouldn’t get on the high street.
We were out for a drive and popped in with our little chihuahua. We always take her in her bag as many places are fine with dogs if you carry them. Unfortunately they’re very strict here and we were asked to leave as “No dogs are allowed”. Such a shame when it’s kind of out in the sticks a bit and there’s so many people out for the day, walking or driving with their dogs. Not to worry though, we drove 10 minutes further on and were welcomed into a lovely dog friendly cafe in Parbold with delicious coffee and cakes.

Had the most wonderful ploughman’s platter. The cappuccino is delightful, cakes to die for. Lovely selection of sandwiches and nibbles

Two birds cafe located inside Heskin hall complex is well worth a visit, good selection of drinks and food on offer, we had the sandwiches , one toasted which were delicious made to order and served with garnish and crisps
Staff were very accommodating
Lots of little craft shops to explore on site also a good butcher and vegetable stall

Absolutely wonderful and what an Afternoon Tea should be. Very welcoming and as we had pre-booked our table was waiting for us. The service was prompt and professional. The coffee very good.The sandwiches, cakes and scones all excellent.
It was the inclusion of soup however that had us puzzled, until it arrived and was a charming ‘espresso’ cup full…lovely accompaniment to the very tasty pork pie.
We can only highly recommend this establishment and will be visiting again.

been here before but a long time ago
and on this occasion did not have a lot of time but on the whole
very impressive place considering the size. lots of different items for sale
there seemed to be a very good butchers and a diy store that had lots of things that you now struggle to get in the average shop

I have been a few times with my wife.
I have to say i am not a fan. Some nice shops within (hepplestone, jewellery, deli, blossom lane)
Some just like a glorified jumble with stalls plonked in the middle.
The end barn and walk through is just a mish mash of anything!
Butchers used to be good value but has gone very expensive. Can get cheaper at same quality at other good butchers.
We dont go no where near as much as we used to...tends just to be a rainy day occasion if nothing better to do.
I wouldn't say it is all that it is hyped to be....shopping village??? shopping barn and shed!

A lovely shopping village with a nice variety of shops selling food, gifts, plants and so much more. The Two Birds Tea Room is a must if you visit, they serve quality freshly prepared food and have a superb selection of cakes and treats. The afternoon tea is a delight with a huge selection of sandwiches, savouries and cakes and some to take home if you can’t eat it all! Lovely staff, service is good and a really homely dining space.

Heskin Hall Shopping Village is a good destination for a day out. There are lots of little shops selling crafts, clothing, gifts, fruit and veg and, my favourite, one of those shops that sells “everything”. It is a good place to go if you are looking for an unusual or unique gift. My friends and I spent quite a while browsing the shops then went for lunch at the Two Birds Tea Room. I was disappointed that there was no plant based option on the menu which I would have preferred but I opted for the feta and olive salad instead which was very nice. My friends enjoyed their food too. The staff in the tea room and shops were all friendly and welcoming. I will definitely visit again and hope that next time the menu will have a specials board with a plant based option.

Absolutely beautiful place fell in love with heskin hall house the rooms had so much to look at we was there for my husband to have a go on a car show off with friends so I took the opportunity to look around it all and it definitely didn’t disappoint too so many beautiful pictures of the place 🦊🌙 unfortunately I can’t leave a review for the cafe as I can’t seem to locate it on Tripadvisor but once I find it I will do 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Two Birds Tea Rooms' owner is the most obnoxious person I've ever come across. Rude, arrogant, unhelpful. If I could give no stars I would. If you want a friendly atmosphere with quality food at reasonable prices then go to The Barn Cafe across to the other building where the staff are wonderful.

Hello there, we have an outdoor eating area where dogs are allowed but unfortunately we can't allow dogs in the centre as there are so many food outlets. So for health and hygiene reasons only service dogs can be allowed. Best wishes, Angela
