We went to the escape room at wheelgate. It was amazing. The young gentlemen who was running it was cheerful, friendly and proffesional. The experience itself was fantastic, challenging but not to the point of becoming boring. Would definitely recommend and can't wait come come again to try the Robin Hood one.

My first escape room and so much fun! Enjoyed the challenges which had great variety. Hints were most welcome and arrived when needed and requested! Will defo go back! With only 2 of us we did not escape but were very close! Happy days, would recommend.

We did the Nuclear Incident room today - the 1st room we have attempted with this particular company.
We were met by a lovely staff member who took us through to our room.
The room was fab. There was a really good mix of things to find and prop objects (nothing worse than an empty soleless room)! The room had different puzzles and wasn't just made up of a million locks (which we've had previously). Hints when we requested them were both quickly given and helpful, our game host also sent us hints when they could see we were labouring in the wrong place or concentrating on the wrong thing.
Unfortunately on this occasion we failed to escape...scuppered by 1 puzzle to open the final door to the last puzzle - but we still left very happy, another 10 mins and i think we'd have cracked it.
We enjoyed our experience so much, that as we left we immediately booked in to try the Fire Resue room tomorrow.

Very good and very enjoyable time! The rooms and games are great for adults and kids. Lots of fun for all and would definitely visit again!

Probably the best escape room we have done; wish we lived closer to do the remaining rooms. Puzzles were excellent, a wide variety in the one experience we did, and they all felt logical (even if we struggled!) which has not been our experience at other escape rooms. Would heartily recommend

Took my son and 3 of his friends to do the nuclear room. Managed to escape with 3 minutes to spare. Loads of puzzles and stuff to find. We all really enjoyed it. Will book again for a different room.

The worst escape room I've ever done. It wasn't an escape room, it was us following instructions that were given to us on the screen. The actual game was so hard that neither of us understood the clues, nothing actually linked and one part of the game was actually broken. I was ready to leave the game within 20 minutes. It wasn't fun at all.

Booked 2 wks ago .. Arrived in plenty of time .. waited and waited … turns out that the staff were a no show… twin lakes representatives did their best to contact someone to come but to no avail .. so as escape games go , your lucky to ever get in !! A trip organised with friends for a my sons 16th birthday today … and to now get an email thanking us for our visit …unbelievable! Waiting for someone to contact me from escape games with an apology and a refund and hopefully something to make amends for my sons 16th birthday disappointment! Appalling service !

We went for my daughters 10th birthday and it was a lot of fun and really well organised. The staff (Jack and Toby) were really helpful and friendly.

Where do we go at wheelgate park for our game, is the location obvious? and is there car parking available?

It's really obvious and you will see it from the bit where you buy tickets from. Parking is as per the rest of the site - plenty!

We were 4 adults and 2 ten years old girls. The girls got really involved and were able to solve many of the clues. They loved it!! Depends on the child I suppose. Our two both like puzzles and mysteries!!

Is this suitable for anyone who is slightly claustrophobic?

The rooms aren't that tiny & most of the time you can move between rooms of different sizes. You are likely to be so busy you won't feel claustrophobic & at most venues they are able to see & hear you at all times so if you start to panic they can easily let you out- though clearly it's at their discretion whether they'd let you back in or not once you'd had a chance to relax & regroup yourself.
