Went for a spa day and enjoyed it immensely Emily carried out my treatment and was a true professional. She did a fantastic job and I left there very very relaxed feeling great. I would fully recommend the Spa to anyone.

‘The relaxation area’ is a room with some chairs and water jugs in. All the blankets on the chairs were out of placed and had been used and not folded back up- the same on return 2 hours after having our treatments, a mess.
The treatment rooms are off the reception. There are signs everywhere asking everyone to be quiet but a certain amount of communication and talking is needed as it’s a reception! We could hear all the talk through the doors despite the relaxing spa music playing- not relaxing at all.
The only saving grace was the therapist I had, Anna I think her name was. She did a brilliant massage. Scrub could have been scrubbed on a bit more as literally felt put it on and then took it off straight away.
The treatment room I was in was cold. I asked for an extra blanket and Anna then turned the heated bed on (that should have been on already) but 2 hours later I was freezing as the bed wasn’t working.
I thought I’d pop to the sauna to warm up but it was packed, could not fit any more people in it and all the loungers around the pool were occupied.
Post treatment with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and loungers all full and I very uninspiring ‘relaxation area’ we decided to get dressed go for lunch and then home leaving very disappointed that we’d just paid £300+ for two of us. Had intended on spending all day there but had our treatments, lunch then home.
Overall:
-therapist good (although my mums wasn’t- had a full body massage and scrub but didn’t even touch her arms)
-facilitates very shabby, in need of repairs everywhere
-I need of a good clean- particularly the floors
Not a ‘spa’, more like a public gym with side rooms off a noisy reception.
Will not be going again.

Had a lovely spa day at Forest pines today. Full credit to Emily who carried out the most amazing massage. I’d highly recommend Emily to anyone who is indulging in a deep tissue massage.
What I found particularly outstanding about Emily is her passion to progress in her therapy career.
Lunch superb and all the spa staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome.

Had a spa day as a suprise from my friend for my 30th birthday. We opted for the "fit for business" massage. I had Julia for my massage and she was amazing. One of the best massages I have had. I felt super relaxed afterwards.

My friend and I had a spa day. We have had quite a lot over the years but this was by far the worse experience we have had. It was far from relaxing. Even the relaxation room is depressing. The only good point was the treatments we had. The therapists were excellent. We struggled to find the entrance to the spa and then found we could have parked nearer but the signage wasn't very clear. Admission wasn't a speedy process as it is at other spas. The heated pool (as it was described to us) was cold. It wasn't relaxing because there was a family with two children in the pool. We weren't expecting that in term time. There were not enough seats / beds in the pool area. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are all very small. To get coffee we had to exit the spa and go upstairs into the bar area. Worse was too come. To get our lunch (part of the package) we had to exit the building (in our spa flip-flops, costumes with towelling robes over), walk across an open area (not under cover) into the hotel. This was not a short walk. At least it wasn't raining. It was not made clear to us that we would have to go outside to get to our lunch. I accept had we known we could have got dressed but why would you on a spa day? The lunch menu was very poor. It was a disappointing day. This spa needs to get its act together. Maybe they need to observe what other spas do. One suggestion is that lunch is served in the bar upstairs and coffee and snacks are made available to buy without having to go up to the bar.

The spa facilities are good, however they on the side of the pool so not as nice as some other spas, it was also quite busy when we went so the sauna / steam room / jacuzzi were quite busy. The relaxation room was nice and this is away from the main area. We had a deal that included lunch and a glass of Prosecco and it was lovely! Really tasty! The deal also included 1 full and 1 express treatment, we all had a full body deep tissue massage and an express facial, they were amazing! We all thought all treatments were great and definitely made the spa day! My therapist Lily was particularly attentive and gave really great advice too! Overall the spa day was really good value for money and we would go again!

I have just been to the SPA today for a treatment and a SPA day last week. On both occasions I had a wonderful, polite, friendly, professional therapist named Lily. She is very good. In fact she is wizard in what she does as a profession. Like me, an NHS worker, she and all her work colleagues deserve a substantial pay rise. I can't wait to get back to Forest pine SPA.

Excellent spa day today. Treatments were wonderful. Not rushed. Great massage got rid of my knots. The facial was amazing made my skin feel fresh. Lily was my therapist she was so good and knowledge. Thanks

Hi, while we were there I did see a couple of ladies in bikinis so I guess it's ok and I didn't notice any signs stipulating dress code. I would phone and check if I were you
