We often visit when we are in Cleethorpes as our bank is there. The vast selection of very local shops, restaurants and pubs makes it ideal for a light lunch, a special present or even for house hunting at the estate agents. Sea View Street has recently had some changes and in these difficult times lost a few shops but it still retains a distinct character of its own.

Avoid Avoid
went with friends asked if the battered fish had egg in was told it then asked for a salad with no coleslaw when the meal came it had coleslaw on ask if they would take it back and was told to take it off my self having asked again they lad took it back only to fetch it bach with the coleslaw taken off i still was unable to eat the meal as i
have a egg allergy there is nothing on there menus to say what"s got allergy"s in the service is slow

Seaview street is a favourite of kurs for shopoing needs locally. From clothes shops, boutiques, hairdressers, barbers kids clothes, hats, swimwear (most are quality outlets) and several really good bars which cater for families with good food, drinks and ambience....

Seaview st has an excellent mix of of retail and bars / restaurants. Parking can appear be a problem but their is a large car park just at the back.

I would just like to advise visitors to check their receipts before leaving this shop. I bought two items, one a brooch and the other a notebook. I knew the price of each item. I paid by card. I did not realise until I had got home, and checked items that she had overcharged me. As i was in the area the following week, I took said items, and receipt (which was only the card receipt, I was never given an itemised receipt), back to show the lady. I know it was not a fortune, but it was her attitude that annoyed me. I was asked 'are you sure you didn't buy anything else?'! She seemed flustered, and did refund the difference, but there was no apology, nothing. I will not be returning. I would just like to warn others. Not professional at all.

This street has a wonderful mixture of quaint old-fashioned shops and modern, trendy cafe/bars.and has a great atmosphere

This street leading from the promenade has some smaller interesting shops including antiques and collectables. Usually you can find something different here not so run of the mill.

These lovely little street is a paradise, with the most wonderful range of boutique gift shops and places to eat. I imagine that the good people of Cleethorpes and the wider area come here to find a special gift or item of clothing.
Well worth a languid stroll.

I alway's try if I can to do a bit of shopping in Seaview Street! the wee gift shop's are amazing and most certainly JK's is!!!! it's more than a 10 from Len, I visit the family in Holton le Clay on a fairly regular basis now, and have bought lot's of lovely present's in JK's too, most for myself I have to say, and I've done so again! but I did buy two more Mermaid tail's for a friend and one for my daughter too! The fabulous iPad cover I bought some time ago at JK's is much admired and I have to keep a close eye on it too! I tell you this wee shop is a treasure tove of delight's and it's a shop that you'll be most welcome too, JK's has such wonderful gift idea's and the welcome you will received is fantastically warm too!!

Not an attraction as such, but as far as shopping streets go, Seaview Street does contain some lovely little independent shops and cafes.
