Liked the cafe (good coffee and scones) and gift shop. Some of the Menopause exhibition was a bit weird.

Good cafe and small but interesting exhibition of photography. Enjoyed the main area more. On same trip went to N Lincs Museum in the town and can highly recommend.

We had a good time looking at the exhibits and doing crafts. My children love it here and it’s a real positive for Scunthorpe. However, if you have any allergies please be super careful in the cafe as although the food is nice, allergen control is poor.

Thank you for your review. We're pleased that you enjoyed the art on show and our free family-friendly crafts. We're sorry that you were unhappy with the arrangements for allergen control in our cafe. We do have a list of possible allergens in our regular menu items available for customers to view. However it may not have been on display at the time. We've passed your comments on to our cafe staff, asking them to review their procedures and make any necessary changes.

We came across this Church / Visual Arts Centre situated towards the end of the Town Centre. The Church was boarded up all around as it seems debris has been falling from the roof. The place remains open whilst ongoing renovation works continues outside. We discovered the church has been empty and in a state of disrepair for over 10 years until it was decided to renovate the place and make use of the space by having exhibitions by various artists approximately every 3 months. There is activities for kids to be involved in once inside. These include arts and crafts & visual activities. There is also a gift shop and cafe.
It's a shame in a way that this lovely church has had to be utilised as an exhibition / arts centre rather than remain as an active church for the town but we again discovered it was due to a falling to practically zero congregation that it was costing more to keep it running.
In essence at least the churches unique characteristics remain in tact and the place is in use.

Great place for lunch with a varied menu. Free entry too.. Often have a range of exhibitions, sometimes interactive which is fun with kids. Theres a small shop selling local artisan work, but keep a check on whats happening and there have been some exciting displays in the past, inc. Grayson Perry's tapestries and more lately an interactive Lego exhibition

While in the area we saw there was a Lego exhibition being held at the arts centre, as it was free we decided to visit. We were lucky to find one of the free car parking spaces nearby. The venue is a converted church with an purpose built building attached by a glass walk way. As we had been to see Art of The Brick exhibition I was expecting to see something bigger than it was. There were several exhibits but it only took 15 minutes to look round, there were activities for children to do.
The centre was busy and the cafe seemed popular although we didn’t use it, there was also a small shop which sold a variety of goods. A small arts centre which seemed to have a varied program of events

Brill fun exhibition on atm.
Loved it. Highly recommend a visit.
Staff always fun and lovely to talk to as well.
It's a must to put on the list if you like quirky stuff lots of lovely items to purchase there as well.

We visited 20/21 on Tuesday 14th January when preparations for the new exhibition were being started. Although we were ' between exhibitions' there were still lots of interesting smaller items to look at and browse. We had our 4 year old granddaughter with us and the staff on duty made us feel really welcome and invited her to do some creative activities with paper, colouring pens, stickers etc. Our time spent there was very enjoyable and made our otherwise mundane day, special

The 20-21 is a fantastic place we had a great time looking around there was Lego exhibition and kids were loving it worth the trip. Wonderful Coffee this is not to be missed its a must to visit

It is free to go in , the exhibitions change regularly and are always of a high quality. Activities for younger visitors are provided. It is located inside the church and purpose build extension for the cafe , toilets and gift shop. Well worth a look in.
