‪Great place to have a look round for a bargain or for reminiscing what you used to remember from childhood.
Cafe was lovely too with great lunch time menu.‬

‪Dusty Rubbish in Ship Containers and Begging Dogs in Tea Room.‬

‪My partner and l have often seen the brown tourist sign for Whitemoor Antiques so decided to go and see. Big mistake! A yard full of muddy potholes. Lorry ship containers full of dusty old rubbish claiming to be "antiques." This place makes charity shops look high market. We then tried the tea-shop. The counter lady was more concerned about chit-chatting to others than taking orders. The sandwich appeared to be cheap supermarket brown bread and the "crusty bread" with the soup was soft. The final straw, was other people's begging dogs after food.‬

‪Lunch at whitemoors ‬

‪Enjoyed a lunch at whitemoors today. I had a bacon and brie toastie, it was very tasty lots of brie.
We went for a walk around the units after. Lots of memories, and lots to look at.
Will call again soon.‬

‪Tea Rooms absolutely AWFUL - indifferent staff ruined our visit‬

‪We came down from Cheshire to visit friends in Leicestershire and after an enjoyable visit to the Antiques Centre, decided to visit the Tea Rooms - BIG mistake! Woman at the counter with tattoos on her wrist was totally indifferent. We asked what cakes there were as there were very few on display and she replied "There may be some more in the back" but didn't offer to see what they were! So, we ordered 3 teas, 1 coffee and 4 toasted teacakes at a cost of £19.20. We then went to sit outside in the shade and began to battle with the wasps (not their fault but other cafes have measures in place to deter/distract wasps from food). Eventually our tea and coffee were served (tea tasted cheap and not very flavoursome) but we waited around 30 minutes to be given our COLD toasted teacakes that had obviously been sitting on the counter for ages waiting for someone to bother bringing them to us. The butter had turned to liquid and the teacakes were cold and hard but given the indifference we had experienced earlier, it was pointless complaining. In contrast, we saw a woman arrive long after us being served her toasted teacakes within minutes of sitting down! A VERY disappointing visit to the Tea Rooms after an enjoyable visit to the Antiques Centre.‬

‪Try the restaurant, if you don't find the antique you want‬

‪For 20yrs I've visited at least 4times a year and had great dealings with Whitemoor. The architecture of the building, the restaurant and the owners are excellent. Even if you don't find the antique you wanted, the food is brilliant every time‬

‪Lovely way to spend a few hours‬

‪We spent a lovely few hours here on our way along the Ashby Canal. Lovely country walk from the canal to Whitemoors and then the antique centre itself is very pretty, gorgeous setting and surroundings. We found it very quirky and interesting. Loved browsing around all the little different areas and sellers. Couldn't believe our luck to find vinyl there too! Who would have thought even on a canal boat holiday we would find vinyl to buy. Our teenage daughter loved the place too and bought a few bits and bobs. We then enjoyed coffees in the tea gardens which were just to peaceful and relaxing to sit in. We just wish we had something like this where we live. Thank you Whitemoors Antiques - you were a holiday highlight.‬

‪Wrong place?‬

‪Looking at the reviews here we must have visited the wrong place.
A few nicer bits and pieces but mainly junk. Tea rooms uninviting and the parking is a mud bath.‬

‪Always a very pleasant visit.‬

‪Lovely walk round the antiques centre which is extensive - always seem to find something to buy! I usually stop for coffee and cake, which is always delicious and served with a smile. Fantastic place for a couple of hours’ visit. My daughter (teen) loves the antiques and the cafe too.‬

‪Dreadful tea rooms‬

‪A £3 slice of dry cake 'served' in a paper bag, dumped on the table by a waitress who didn't speak a word to us, even after we made eye contact and thanked her. No plate, no fork... The gardens are really lovely but I just can't fathom why they're serving such poor food at high prices. And in paper bags?! What a way to ruin what could be such a lovely little cafe. So disappointed and definitely won't bother with the tea rooms again. The only saving grace is that the antiques here are lovely.‬

‪First time visiting here with my friend, what a lovely place!
There was lots to look at and actually took us back in years to childhood memory’s at all the old furniture and nick knacks on display, all reasonably priced, we found a few bargains. We loved the sweet shop.
Really enjoyed the cafe and gardens.
Lovely knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to help and told us about the history of the place and area.
We fully recommend a visit to here, we definitely will be coming again.
We also took a short drive into Shenton village to look at the church and buildings, beautiful place.‬
