Severe downgrade of the quality menu items since last visit. Stay away from the crispy prawns if you just want to eat batter and over cooked chicken tenders within the burger.
This used to be a great place to grab a bite to eat which was also good value. Now we will be avoiding coming back.

Friendly staff, excellent service, great atmosphere. A great place to meet up with friends and family for either just a drink or a meal. Lovely and cosy during the colder months. Always greeted with a smile by the friendly staff. Lovely menu which caters for all appetites.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish I was greeted with a friendly welcome and the food was so mmmmmm especially the nachos and halloumi fries 😊😊

The food which I served, was excellent, the facility was clean and tidy, Beer was reasonably priced and well kept.

Although I have not visited the pub for four years the cleintel always seem friendly and also a busy pub

Eight of us met up for a drink and were able to get a large corner area and sit together. I was drinking Sauvignon Blanc which was really good. The bar staff were very efficient and there was very little waiting time to be served. The tables were cleared regularly

Have been here before. Usually OK. This time disaster. Service slow. Food awful. Will not be returning. Nobody seemed interested.

Visited on Sunday 8th July 2018 and wish I had never bothered. Arriving just after 12 noon with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Decided to go to the Arms as it is walking distance for us both and we could eat there. Ordered drinks and sat down with them to look at the menu. Chose Pork dinner with an added extra of cauliflower cheese.Perfect, or so I thought. Went to the bar ordered two more drink and asked if I could order food. The reply from the young man serving me and tapping away on the screen without even looking at me was "Yeh!". Could I have two pork dinners please with a side order of cauliflower cheese, I asked. Let me stop you there whilst I check and the cauliflower, don't think we have any. With that he went to the kitchen and returned with. "Nah, got none and ain't had any for 2 weeks". No apology, nothing. I paid and sat down. Girl brought some knives and forks over and told us that there was no pork and that we could have either turkey or beef? We chose beef though a bit let down that they had not mentioned this when ordering. When the meals arrived the look on our faces should have said it all. One slice of beef on my friends plate about half an inch think and two on my plate at half the thickness. Pre sliced carrots and green beans that were both rock hard, plus the beans were cold. A yorkshire pudding that neither of us could cut. Three tiny dry roast potatoes. To add insult to injury there was NO mashed potato at all. When we asked why we were told because we don't have any. We hardly ate any of it and felt very let down by a local establishment that seemed to not give a dam! We complained to the staff who's only reply was. "We will tell the chef so he knows for next time". Trust me, there will not be a next time for us. Marstons Brewery seriously need to look at this place or I'm sorry to say it will be the next housing development going up around Nuneaton.

Just popped in for a pint first sunny day of year you would think there would be more than 2 staff working waited 10 minutes to be served so gave up and went pub across road ( funny duck) service superb

Meal was good but service was terrible. Waited nearly an hr for soup another half an hour main course and another long wait for pudding. Four of us at lunch got there about 12.15 hardly anyone in. Best of it was we all had the same starter 3 had same main and all had same sweet. We reminded them about each course. We didn't even get an apology

Having looked on the internet says this is a child friendly pub this is not true think u need to check this out shame

Why is it a "shame" there isn't a pub in Nuneaton? Warwickshire? that doesn't allow kids, new people that have taken over said "been there, done that, no kids" HURRAH 😁

hi we only paid a very cheap amount for xmas fayre meal 50 of us attended and the meal was great
exactly what we paid for, I suggest if you want better you pay more and go to some where up market like wetherspoons or harvester as I'm sure you ll get what you paid for there as well
