Really disappointing easter visit. It has so much potential but it looks like they hardly put any effort into the event. My 16 month old loves it but would not go when he is older as not worth the money you pay for an adult let alone a child. I would just avoid at Easter, there was not much there. And the cafe staff are useless, waited over 30 mins for 2 breakfasts, the waitresses just not got a clue what they are doing. Such a shame

Absolutely disgusted with how they can charge £8 per child and end up with a pathetic chocolate bar,the only animals there was rabbits total waste of money, as most of the outdoor area was blocked of. to hear the girl who was on the door collecting the tokens to visit the easter bunny ask another parent about her lips having filler in was beyond me. Nothing special about this place what so ever you get more for your money goin to the actual sandwell farm which we resorted to going to after.

The Easter activities were marred by a rainy day. The country park itself is large with a permanent adventure park on site.
We had booked the Easter bunny visit which was nice. The treasure hunt was well organised and we got to see the rabbits in the enclosed garden.
On a sunny day this would be a good place to visit and spend time at.

This park is great for families with children but also for couples or if you're alone. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the little farm, so cute :) The lake is beautiful, must be even better in summer, I'll visit it again

Would recommend this if you have kids very nice place to go and get away for bit of time with the kids.

We came here to see Santa and was pleasantly surprised. We have been to so many places over the years and paid a fortune Cadbury world, Safari park etc. At sandwell there was so much to do at an amazing affordable price. The Santa was great, talkative and engaging and the gifts were good to. There was so much for the kids to do, they made Xmas decorations, visited elf school and there was live shows every hour witch was amazing. They even had snow flurry's every so often. They decorated the little barns up lovely. Gift shop at the end was definitely over priced but the food and drink walking round was extremely reasonable. We will most definitely be back xx

We were really disappointed today in our visit to Forge Mill Farm for the Christmas event. It was advertised as a ‘toddler special’, there was nothing there that made it particularly a toddler event, I don’t know how they can advertise as this. There was a ‘festive trail’ which they had hung some stars/elves etc up for the children to count which they were supposed to write down on a sheet, we weren’t told about this or given a sheet when we turned up so we didn’t know. The advert said ‘play in the festive straw maze’ which is just their usual maze which they hung a few Christmas banners in. There were 2 activity stations set up, one make your own decoration which was the only decent thing there, the other we didn’t know what we had to do (there were rubber ducks and what looked like a bowl of flour), no instructions and no staff to tell you what to do. They also advertised ‘family activities’ which I don’t know what this is referring to, there wasn’t much there at all additional to what is always there and as it was advertised as a festive toddler special day I expected much more. Very under whelming and waste of money unfortunately.

My children's enjoys Sandwell valley, easy to get their whether by bus or car. Only problem was, three weeks ago the food venders was shut.... Lucky we had a picnic with us and drinks, On a very Hot Day. .

Loved the park and the fair the kids had loads of things to play on but the womens toilets where a disgrace two cubicles out of order the other one was disgusting which left only one that could be used causing the queue on to the car park , they to be checked at least twice a day and mantained

We visited a very busy park to day lovely to see family's enjoying it. We as were lots of other people disappointed the farm has now been moved. The area seems deserted with a very quiet tea room. On walking round the gardens it seems awful, in this day and age, so much fruit and veg just rotting . The gardens are well worth a visit but not sure a rabbit farm adds anything to it. There were I'm pleased to see seats every few yards which are noticeabley missing in the main park.

Can dogs swim in the lake?

Wouldn’t have thought so but I’m not a dog owner and I’ve seen people let dog do things they shouldn’t do like be off leads in certain places

Yes there are parking charges. Nominal and the charges are on the Sandwell council website.

How do you find the spot for a dog to swim at swan pool, away from the birds/ geese? Any help out there???

It’s a pretty big expanse of water. I would guess you would recognise a spot when you see it. Most of the edge is accessible. As long as your dog isn’t a ‘chaser’ I can’t see it as a problem
