Arrived in time to see individuals finishing up a batch of cheese- actually wrapping and slicing- sampled a few and realized the Swiss was the absolute best. They have every different cheese and accessories that one could imagine. It’s a must go!!!!

The grounds! We have made many visits to Guggisberg Cheese. We love going inside the shop to purchase, but more than anything, we absolutely love the grounds to the left of the building. The working water wheel, and what looks to be a Swiss Village with the Matterhorn in the background. A gazebo allows you to sit and listen to the water spraying from the fountain. Don’t forget about the little cat house that matches the village and the cat who wanders around here and there watching over the property. We never pass through here without making a stop!

Very good cheese. Can get free samples. Can see some of the equiptment but no tours. Good place to stop and get some cheese to go.

The selection is good and the quality is better. Only reason it didn't get a 5 is that I'm a sharp cheese guy and unless its sharp as can be, then it isn't a 5. Don't get me wrong, they have a really nice selection and what we bought was delicious. You can't go wrong and it is definitely worth the journey.

As expected Guggisberg has a wide selection of cheese! They have varieties I don't see elsewhere such as sharp swiss. They also have a large selection of crackers/breads/dips and other snacks and accompaniments for the cheese. They have a great spread cheese selection as well. You can also get cheese boards and other kitchen implements. There is also candy, jelly, and some gifts. They have good prices and the staff are friendly and helpful.

One of the few places you can get lactose free Swiss cheese. They also have a good selection of noodles, beef sticks and cheeses.

Whenever I go to Millersburg, Ohio I make sure to stop & buy 2 pkgs of the original Swiss cheese, one for me plus another pkg for my neighbor…we both LOVE their baby Swiss!!!

Gift shop/store attached to the main cheese factory. Bought a few items for presents and perused the cheese for sale. Good selection at reasonable prices (cheaper than at home).

I visited here last weekend On August 28,2021. The first time I tried to visit here the line to get in was clear out the door and by the road. Unfortunately, I was a little short on time and didn’t get to visit. This time there was no line and I went right in. It is a cheese lover’s paradise. Though they are famously well known for their baby Swiss, I bought some smoked sharp cheddar and some cheddar cheese spread. Both were very yummy. I also noticed they had some German imports so I purchased some spaetzle. The staff inside were so friendly and welcoming as well. It was a wonderful visit overall. I was a little disappointed that my favorite Amish Country restaurant, Chalet In The Valley was closed.

Cheese, cheese and more cheese! Very neat place to visit. Lots of goodies from -Swiss Amish mustard, meats, jelly, chocolate and of course CHEESE:)

I would say yes if you go later in the day-- after 3. Each when we go its thats late and there usually only a few people in there. Now true its outside of the cheese making viewing hours, but if you are just shopping then its ideal. The cheese making and tours make it crowded but people are usually nice enough to move aside (usually ;) )
The layout is a straight store with a open cooler in the center which can make it seem smaller.
Do you make Butter Cheese? And how much does it cost?Thank you

They do and it was delicious. I don't recall price but it was more expensive than the other types.
