‪This museum is fascinating, and I am not a bicycle fanatic. The displays are well set up and informative for those who are into bicycles as well as the rest of us. Gives the history of bicycles within broader history of women's movement and more. I would like to go back because there was more there than I could absorb in one visit.‬

‪I went on a field trip here and there are a lot of amazing bicycles and I got to learn a lot about them. I also got to try out on of the bikes there.‬

‪It's an easy drive from the Dayton area to New Bremen, Ohio, to see this unique 3-story shop. The history of bicycles is featured, including the early models with huge wheels, to military-use bikes, racing bikes, as well as current modern types. One cute feature is the bike used in the movie, Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The top floor will take you back to a simpler time, of curved handle bars, quaint baskets, banana seats and tandem bikes. It's just about an hour or so drive, which is also nice to just get out, and drive the country roads, instead of the highway.‬

‪There are about 125 bikes on display, that's out of owners 800+ collection. Displays included historic to modern bikes. Each display has sign of description with tons of information. Unlike some of the prior posted, they probably had rotated some of the display out, currently none of the display is touchable. There are many many unique bikes there, one of a kinds. I don't even know how to ride bike, but if you interested in anything mechanical or just simply interested in how things work, you will found this interesting. The museum manager was friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to explain and give me answers to my questions. You can just walk and look at bikes, or can slow down and read all the signs which had lots of interesting and valuable information, but expect lots of readings. I did made a special trip to the museum, and I was really glad I went. I spend a long longer than expected in the museum. Might not be best for children would want to touch everything. Overall, worth a visit, learned a lot about bike structure, manufacture, etc. recommend!! This collection was displayed in Chicago until the current owner moved them to this current location. There are unique pieces that you won't be anywhere else in US, pretty cool! ‬

‪This museum is a must for any cycilist! I attended an Ohio Bicycle Federation Board meeting held here in 2019, and I was amazed at the quntity and quality of the bike collection here. There are two floors of bikes on display from the late 1800s to modern day. When you walk away, all you can think if is getting back on your bike. The curator is very polite and accomidating. He has been contacted by the American Pickers TV show many times for appraisals of bicycles found by the hosts Mike and Frank. I highly recommend tje BMOA!!‬

‪My wife & I came to New Bremen, Ohio because they had an electric car charging station for free for our Chevrolet Bolt EV. We found a BEAUTIFUL town all painted up in wonderful history! This Bicycle Museum is a must to see & you will see bikes that you did not know ever existed. It is right next to a wonderful restaurant, "17 West", with great foods. Next to that is a very nice coffee shop. Around the corner is a restoration of the Miami-Erie Canal lock with one of the oldest houses, The New Bremen Historical Museum house, from the 1830's. This town is an absolute fun stop!‬

‪The museum curator was quite rude to me. I was told several times not to touch anything, not that I did. I'm an adult with no children but was the only one there at the time. I'd hate to see what would happen if you brought children here. It has some interesting old bicycles on 2 and a half floors and only one interactive display ( a high wheel bicycle you can pretend to ride but I didn't want to touch it ). Lots of neat old posters. Do I think it's worth it ? Quite honestly, no I don't. The admission is 3 dollars and 2 dollars for seniors. I do not know whether or not they allow children inside but from my treatment, I would guess no.The road sign says it's 13.1 miles from I-75 but it's only about 10. 13.1 miles puts you in the middle of a field. The museum has no distinct road signs in town but is on the south side just as you enter the town. The parking lot has the remnants of an old canal that was interesting. The store has a souvenir Penny Press there but talk to the curator before touching it to make sure it works. It wasn't plugged in when I went there so I lost .51 cents but was refunded.‬

‪This museum is AMAZING!!! We found it by mistake on the way to Wright Patterson AF base and museum. So glad we took the exit on the way home from Dayton. It’s a nice drive through farmland to the small town of New Brenem where the museum is located. So much to look at & not too “educational” to bore the kids. Really neat old posters and of course- bicycles. Great for any history buff. A must-see!‬

‪This museum is a must when in northeast Ohio. The bicycle collection was purchased from the Schwann Company in Chicago and added to throughout the years. Amazing collection of bicycles from the 1800’s forward. The staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Come and several of Robin William’s favorite bikes. ‬
