We bought tickets for the West Coast Swing event this past weekend. The response I got to an email regarding food and wine was that there was no food available, that we could bring in a picnic but that there would be wine available. (Of course! It's a winery.) We booked our dog at a kennel, booked a hotel and a dinner reservation at 5. We didn't have an itinerary for the evening except that there would be dancing from 6-10. They were't able to check who had prepaid at the door but luckily I had printed out our tickets. We arrived at 6:30 and lessons were well underway and at that point it was a joke to try to catch up. We asked about wine and were told it wasn't available. Someone had to ask the owner if we could have a little wine so the owner gave us a small glass to share from her bottle. Then we left. We go to McMinnville pretty often. I'd never heard of this winery before but you can be sure we won't be back. What a poorly run event.

I recently got married at Youngberg Hill Vineyard and could not have asked for a better experience!! The scenery was absolutely stunning, the Youngberg Hill Sparkling wine was top-notch, and all of the staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. We stayed the night in the Inn and were awakened by a beautiful sunrise followed by breakfast delivered to our room. All of that combined helped make my wedding at Youngberg Hill the most magical day of my life!

TERRIBLY disappointed. We've been going to Youngberg for 10 years. The rose was super light, not much of a nose. Tasting fees were $20 for who knows what as the lady behind the counter knew nothing. Not even knowledgeable about how to use the scan for the menu. They don't print menus anymore. Saturday at noon and no other tasters. That tells me I wasn't the only person who gave up on Youngberg.
Their fields were in poor condition and vines smaller than others in the area.
I'll never go back or recommend Youngberg Hills.

The management in this place is rude. The inn associated with the winery is problematic. If you're not an inn guest, they might treat you poorly. Sad

Tonight’s wine is the 2019 Pinot Blanc:
Slow forming thick legs;
Pale straw color;
Pronounced pear notes with maybe a hint of nuttiness;
Smooth on the palate with an idyllic tartness to the lingering finish.
Outstanding! 94 points
Only 100 cases, so may want to snap up a few bottles

We have stayed at Youngberg Hill prior to Covid and the experience was wonderful. We had no complaints at that time. And honestly what brought us back again was the amazing view Youngberg offers while staying. It is peaceful and serene. So naturally, when we recently decided to make a quick overnight to McMinnville we decided to book again. We realize things might not be the same as places of business are dealing with State ordered mandates, however, we feel their website was slightly misleading. Their website states they offer a “2 course gourmet breakfast.” It was not even close. And for almost $400/night, we were disappointed. After paying the deposit, we received an email that they would deliver our breakfast at 9am to our room. Ok, that’s ok, we understand. However, it was yogurt parfait, breakfast bread, and a sliced poached pear, with water and orange juice. Coffee we had to make in the room. This is fine if this is what they have chosen to offer during this time. However, they should say on their website that during this time a 2 course gourmet breakfast will not be served, but a continental breakfast of yogurt, pastries and fruit will be. I also think the prices should reflect this as well. Perhaps we will try again when things are back to “normal”. Nothing still beats the view from Youngberg Hill. I hope they take this into consideration for future guests.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful views, peaceful and relaxing. It has a paved road to the B & B winery so you can take a fun car!

In this circumstance, we had tickets purchased for special music by Aaron Meyer to benefit Linfield College. We were able to purchase wine and food from them or bring our own picnic. Their food took a bit to arrive but the sandwich and salad were fantastic which we ate during the wonderful outdoor concert. There couldn't be a better view anywhere of the entire valley. Sunsets from there are magnificent. I was surprised to learn that not only are they a Bed and Breakfast and a tasting room but they have events constantly. For instance, free music, a vineyard tour, wine glass painting, a murder mystery dinner, wreath making, dance classes. To know more see their Website or Facebook for more details.

It was so wonderful to have you stay with us and on such a fantastic day. The sunset was amazing and Aaron Meyers is such an outstanding performer. Truly a special day that we are thrilled you could enjoy with us.
We are located on a 30 year old bio-dynamically farmed vineyard that has been making award winning wines for the past 16 years with Wayne Bailey as our winemaker. We are proud to be a showcase for Oregon Wine Country as a family owned and operated destination location. Along with the events you listed we also offer other wine events for both the public and our wine club to enjoy through the year. Youngberg Hill was our first stop on our wine tasting tour. It didn't disappoint. We drove the long winding driveway to the top of a hill to find this lovely winery. The tasting room is welcoming with gorgeous views over the valley. The staff was so friendly and we chatted while tasting.
We found their wines to be lovely, full of flavor and very drinkable. We spent about an hour and a half when it was just time to get on to the next winery. We would have loved to just order a glass and sit out on the back porch soaking in the scenery, views and a wonderful glass of wine.

Do you have room for my husband and I inn Saturday, July 22? We would like a queen or king bed. And what are the rates please?Do you only serve breakfast? And do you serve cheese and crackers with your wine tastings or should we bring our own?
