We really enjoyed seeing Star Wars here so fun that they had themed drinks. Seats were comfortable and the service for the food was fast.

The Bagdad theater has a unique feel from any other theater I have been to. It has a very large screen (which is really nice in this day and age) and it also has a balcony. If you sit in the balcony they will wait on you which is a nice perk.

We ordered our tickets for the 7pm show online. Getting our seats was a breeze. The seats are comfortable and there is a bar available. Great place to see a movie.

We checked out online reviews and thought it might be quite fun. Boy, did we underestimate that. Comfy seats, amazing decor, food delivered to us during the movie, and a great selection of craft beer on tap, that you can have during the movie? What more can you ask?

The Bagdad Theatre is very comfortable and ornate, plus you can enjoy a McMenamin's beer while watching a movie.

What a grand theater venue! It's huge and clean and classy. The popcorn was super! Order food & drink for balcony viewing/eating. Great seats. First rate audio/video/ambience/presentation. Also adjoins McMenamin's Bagdad Pub, if you want just the pub experience before or after dinner.

Geweldig mooi oud Theater op Hawthorne Boulevard waar toch recente films worden gedraaid. Ook is er een goed restaurant in gevestigd, handig voor een lunch bijvoorbeeld!

My boyfriend and I loved the theater so much, we watched 2 movies here during our trip to Portland. Avengers and Solo! The place is such a cute 1920's vintage theater. It's also the only theater I know that allows booze to be brought in while watching the movie. Depending on your movie show time, check out their happy hour! It'll either be before or after your movie.
Also, go to the theater early to purchase your tickets. Then, walk around the SE Hawthrone area and check out all the thrift shops. There's a Buffalo Exchange nearby and I found a lot of good stuff! Bluestar Donuts is near as well. If you still have time, have a seat at the resto and order a chai latte!

This place is so amazing! You can eat in the restaurant while another movie is playing then go to your movie. They only play 1 movie at a time & the place is huge! You can get pitchers of beer at the theater & since there’s only 1 movie playing, if you have to get up to use the bathroom or get more beer, all the speakers are playing the movie so you don’t really miss much. You can go to the bathroom & still here what’s going on!!!!! They have a huge balcony as well as huge floor. We saw Black Panther in the middle of the day on a weekday & practically had the place to ourselves & got perfect seats with a lil table for our beer & popcorn.
