Planned a trip to hike at Ricketts Glen and Mill Race Golf Resort proved to be a great find for tent camping. Not only was it close to this beautiful hiking area, we were able to hit around some golf balls. The RV park is immaculate with clean showers and bathrooms and there was plenty of firewood for our campfire.
The golf resort personnel were friendly and answered all my questions. Also there is a good Italian restaurant in the club house.
Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Golf is nothing like FL. Fare ways were bad but greens were like carpet. Campground was a small trailer park with one road. Our site had no picnic table and flooded when it rained. We couldn’t walk outside after the rain.

If the campground were maintained like the Pro Shop, Restaurant, and Bar, not to mention the golf course, this place would be spectacular!
The folks are friendly, the place is quiet, there is fishing boating if you bring your own, no motors please and it is close to State Park, grocery stores, hiking, fishing and lots of other things. The sites themselves are a bit close together. 50 amp full hook-up sites are available. Some of the unused sites as well as the seasonal sites seem to be in need of a bit of maintenance and care on the part of their owners.
Other than that the place is very nice and certainly worth a visit. It is pet friendly.

We stayed here 2 summers ago for a long weekend and were so taken by the breathtaking beauty of the area, well kept and challenging golf course and adorable town of Benton that we spent this past year at Mill Race as a seasonal camper. The idea of walking from our camper to a beautifully manicured 18 hole golf course was what drew my husband and son. My daughter and I loved the campground, the trails at nearby Rickets Glen State Park and the antique shops in Benton. The staff is courteous and welcoming. There are large ponds and creeks in the are for fishing and it's only about 45 minutes to Knoebels Amusement Park. Great place to spend the summer!!

My wife and I love this course especially in the fall. The trees in full color, just a hint of frost in the mornings fading away as the sun slowly warms the course, the ducks flying over and landing on the creek and golf here becomes one of the most beautiful things to do on a fall day. This course is challenging enough with well-appointed hazards so that an advanced golfer won't be let down, but open enough that a beginning golfer won't be intimidated. It must be played to be appreciated.

Camping for the extended weekend and golf! Nothing better. We have a 5th wheel so the spots were large enough to park. Electric, water, and sewer available at site. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Manager, Andrew was very helpful. We will definitely return.

This was my first time golfing ever so keep that in mind.
The course was very nice as in clean and well taken care of. Was it a good course for golfing? No idea since I am a novice. I would go again and I know that my husband has played there before. I went with five others and one of them plays all the time so it must have been ok if he played there with us.

The course was good, the people very friendly and the price very reasonable. Plus, my husband had a hole in one (first time ever!) on the 18th hole, a par three.

stopped here for a couple of days to flyfish the Fishing Creek, BUT...Golf was great also, had fun at our rv site watching the Golfers and visiting with the Locals who have been staying here for years.....we stayed 10 days!!!!!...Diane, the Manager and the staff were nice and helpful, nothing too stressful for playing golf...nice greens and a beautiful setting,will definately be back...next time possibly several weeks.....thanks for a great stay.....

hi = This does not pertain to your golf course-however, if we decide to stay in your area we will be visiting the course during our vacation. Do you know of where i can find a place to rent lake side with access to a boat or two. We have 4 very active teenage boys who love to golf and fish. We are looking for a house to rent in your area. Any suggestions, thank you in advance!
