Went there a couple of times with no problem. I'm a Hispanic Male I go with my Dad and we usually rent a variety of guns, mostly handguns. We wait in line and when it is time to rent a range we pick out a gun and how many rounds we want usually 200 and then we give our license gear up and go. I have not faced any racism here actually they were friendly. A certain staff member gave me tips on one of the times I was shooting and then he and my Dad talked for a while about their experience in the military, where they were stationed, how they are marines, and about experiences. There were many minorities around shooting without any problem with staff. I had to remove a star or dot because the ammunition is costly. There were many minorities around us and they were having a lot of fun with no problems regarding staff.

I inherited a few nice shotguns. I no longer hunt so I went to a couple of shops to see what they would pay for 2 of the guns. One is a very nice Winchester Model 21, 16 ga, side by side. The Sportsman Shop in East Earl PA offered me $3000 in person, inspecting the gun. Same situation at Targetmaster in Chadds Ford I was offered $500! I expect offers to vary but that is ridiculous. I never write reviews but I hope I can help the next guy avoid going to Targetmaster.

tried renting a lane to shoot my 223 and they told me i had to purchase ammo from them. I asked about prices they are at least double i normally pay. I'Ve also used there reloads on 2 occasions and both times the extractors on my pistols broke trying to eject a case that had cracked. Do not use reloads from this place. They must not inspect casing properly before reloading. i do blame my self for not inspecting them closer.
Store looks great, big game mounts all over, very impressive, but it doesn't make up for the over pricing, over gauging they force on you. The staff also acts and treat people like they don't care about their business. Ive bought and rented guns here before but i am never going back there again. Tommy Gunn should be ashamed as the store OWNER.

Been going here for over 20 years, and always have had a great experience. Have been there more often than the occasional shooter goes, I have a membership and have been there sometimes 2-3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. But in all of the years of going here, I have found staff to be helpful, friendly, and accommodating. If you are a legit person and not someone who is ineligible to own firearms, they'll treat you right. They can tell those who are trying to get a gun and aren't allowed, they have seen it time and time again. So, don't bother trying. That said, they have always had inventory, even during the pandemic when others did not. Ammo, guns, gear, targets, and of course the range. While I take guns home and clean them first, sometimes I've purchased and took it into the range for test shooting with some metal conditioner in lieu of a full cleaning. Regardless, you'll pay less to shoot here than other places, and while not all modern and fancy, who cares. It's a gun range it's gonna get dirty as shooting sport is dirty. Love the folks here, love the prices overall, and despite what you think they are about reasonable with the online stuff once you consider everything like shipping, FFL transfer fees etc. Like to support those who support the community. Someday, if this place ever closes, I'll be heartbroken because it is more like a gun club than a store. You build relationships with the staff, and not just cold sales transactions.

The best way to improve the experience is not to go. I had a question, called the clerk, said he talked to his boss, told me a certain amount of money. Went in and they charged more ,I said I talked to the clerk was told he's not the boss.

Excellent gun range. Safety is first on their mind. Had a great experience. They helped use the range in a safe manner.

Best gun & ammo store within 100 miles.... Best long term staff.... any whiner ratings and posters on here are not a reflection on the staff or store, but on them... for the self-pity-posters-- self-awareness check: it isn't everyone else, it's you.

Staff at this shop are not very customer-centric. You'd think they'd be more outgoing and WANT to help people, but they act like they don't need or want your business. Always with short answers like you're bothering them. Tanners is a much better gun shop but they don't have an indoor range.

I've been here a few times. Staff aren't friendly and I never feel welcomed when I go, I'd hate to think it's because I'm black. But I've had great encounters at other places like Guardian Training center or the Gun rage on Percyt st. I'm you're black you might want to try somewhere else.

What a bunch of unfriendly people. Never have I ever felt so unwelcome. I was checking out a $1000+ gun in the case and some guy comes over says nothing to me and rings up what I had in my hand before I had the chance to ask to check it out. I paid and left. I wont be back. I'll stick to Tanners in Jamison, PA for my gun purchases they are friendly and know how to make people feel comfortable in their shop. Also the price gouging going on at this place ridiculous. For a S&W EZ they were charging $70 more than Tanners does. I don't know how they stay in business being so unfriendly to people. then again maybe it's because I am a woman all the other customers were men. either way this place is no bueno
