Cafe Garth is in the second floor of an art gallery and frame shop in a beautifully restored building in a historic part of Columbia PA. There isn't a ton around but it's worth a stop for sure. The coffee is roasted in a machine that is from 1907 (if I'm remembering right) and it does have a distinct and wonderful flavor. They also serve creme Parisienne with coffee, which is a special treat! There isn't always much in the way of food, but the space makes up for it. It's a quiet and beautiful place to talk and sit and is also a beautiful event venue!

Garth Gallery and Cafe Garth is an amazing experience, whether you're there for coffee with french cream, italian soda or to marvel at the many works of art, you will never be disappointed. We were welcomed by owner and coffee master/barista, Cle whom is a gem. I'm not a coffee drinker but after having Cle's version, I'm now craving it! He was very welcoming and relayed a lot of the history behind this newly revitalized little town of Columbia. In addition to the comfortable ambiance and the incredible selection of art which is for sale, Cle, an artist himself, does custom framing. Stopping by is a must when visiting the Lancaster area which is just a short drive away.

Café Garth is a place to go to if you want to relax with family / friends or just to be by yourself. The Beverages are Delicious! The Art Work in the Gallery is a bonus, very beautiful pieces to look at, purchase & just enjoy while you are there. My Daughter & I go to Café Garth every chance we get. We love the staff (Cle), atmosphere, and the beverages. From the first time we visited we were welcomed with open arms. We just feel bad that we didn't discover this "GEM" located at 22 South Second Street in Columbia PA. alot sooner..... The coffee here is AMAZING whether it is hot or cold. So if your looking for something different to do or just looking to relax give Café Garth a try.... Guaranteed you won't be disappointed. 🍵☕😀

Garth Gallery was featured on the cover of the Lancaster County Magazine and hosted a launch party in conjunction with Fourth Friday in Columbia. We dropped in and were greeted by owner, Cle Berntheizel and saw the exhibits by artists Christine Ott and Marie Wohlfahrt, both of whom were happy to talk with us about their work. Cle also does wonderful framing and has a great coffee shop upstairs. Nice place to drop by and unwind.
