Horrible owner. Zero stars if i could. Dropped Regs off end of March. Started trying to reach them beginning of June since I hadn’t heard anything. It took me several unanswered emails, full vm box and no one answering the phone to finally get through. I live an hour and a half away so closest shop that does Mares service. Owner says oh yeah they are ready come any time. I reminded him I’m pretty far away but he assured me they were ready. . So following Saturday I go to the shop only to be told the rebuild kit is back ordered. So ok a little annoyed. Not one told me this and the owner told me they were ready. I was going away on a dive trip. Borrowed a friends extra set of Regs. Now it’s July 7. I let them know I’m coming for my Regs. Ok no problem. Kit still not in. It’s ok I have to pick them up now anyway bc I’m going out of the area until end of September. I drive the hour and a half. I go inside and owner is there asking what he can do for me. I told him I’m picking up my Regs I know parts are still backordered but I’m leaving the area etc. I following him to the back and he finds the bin and says, “oh they aren’t finished, they only did half”. I said, “what??” No one told me they were started or halfway done. I just drove another hour and a half to get here” his response… that’s not my fault you drive an hour and a half”.”how’s that my problem?” So I say, “I need to take them with me”. They still don’t have the kit. He throws my Regs on a chair grabs a tie wrap and angrily puts the mouth pieces back on my 2nd stage and Octo making sure to do so in an angry manner. Throws the tie wrap gun. Then starts yelling at me. I said, “please stop yelling at me” he said, “I’m not yelling”. You sir ARE yelling. I reminded him of his poor communication skills. So he brings me up to the register and tells me, “that will be $184.29!!! That was it.. at this point I’m done being polite and also done being verbally harassed. I told that’s ridiculous!! Nothing was done!! The kit was never received by the shop. I told him “you keep those Regs and expect a letter from my lawyer”. I’m 55 years old. Don’t disrespect me and don’t redirect your lack of communication and poor customer service onto me. How about. “Wow I’m so sorry and what can I do to make this better”. THEN try to over charge me for literally no work? Nope not today.

Great dive shop. Owner Dave V is hands on owner who does all aspects of his business from running the shop , teaching multiple continuing educational dive courses, technical advice on equipment and gear and generally will be found on all destination dives.
A great resource for anyone with diving experience , looking for a dive shop to call home or looking to learn how to dive.

If your a diver and are looking to meet up with other divers and do some travel. This is your place. Awesome selection of gear and travel trips. More trips than any other shop. There is a dive club that is free to join and usually get about 30 or so people every month. There is lots of training going on all the time. If you want to try scuba diving give them a call. You will love it but be careful cause it is definitely addictive!

Since moving last year, I needed to find a local dive shop. I was fortunate enough to find Indian Valley Scuba with 15 miles of my home. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. A full diving menu is offered with both long and short trips and day diving. I took a cert course which was well conducted and have purchased accessories with their guidance. I also have my gear serviced there and prices are very reasonable.

We've been here a few times to buy various items. I also inquired about having my 2 nieces and 1 nephew take the "Intro To Scuba" class. Everyone working here has been great.

This is a shop where everyone is not just a credit card walking through the door. They really go out of their way to help divers or non-divers alike in answering any questions they have about Scuba Diving. The most trips of any dive shop in the country and always a great crowd attending the dive club meeting. Best prices around anywhere and if you buy a tank there you get free Hydro and VIP inspections for life which pays for the cost of the tank in no time. The service guy there is excellent and the owner of the shop as well is a wealth of information. They teach everything from Snorkeling right up to the most serious of Technical, Wreck and Cave diving.

It's hard to find exceptional customer service nowadays, well I found it here. I booked a last minute trip to Jamaica and wanted to get scuba certified. I called Indian Valley Scuba and spoke to Sue. She called me back within the hour and was able to find an instructor available the following week. We scheduled a three day training session with my instructor. Jim was personable, incredibly knowledgeable and has over 30 years of experience diving. You can tell the people running this dive shop are passionate about what they do and know their stuff. I am fortunate to have such a solid shop within an hour of my house. Looking forward to checking out Dutch Springs when it gets a little nicer out!
