So much good food!! Great vendors, friendly people. We love poking around this market! We especially love grabbing a craft beer at the Zero Day outpost and some Knead pizza!

Great place full of character and FANTASTIC food. Wonderful blend of some local and international cuisine. We go to do some shopping and get lunch there most weeks.

Use to go here as a child and wanted to visit. One building is predominantly baked goods, meats, cheese and some produce. Second building is mostly an eatery with a large variety of ethnic foods. Tables for dining in the middle. It's is definitely more upscale than in the 60s but we got some good cheeses and meats. Parking was available right at the market on Saturday morning. Worth the visit if you're in Harrisburg.

What a lovely old market, with delicious and fresh local produce! We also enjoyed the guitar duo that sat between the produce building and the hot-and-cold prepared food building. The neighborhood is charming, too, with Midtown Scholar bookstore across the street along with many other nice shops!
Only open Thurs through Sun—so glad we were there on those days.

This is a local market with a high representation of Amish vendors, which is a good thing in my opinion. There are two buildings to peruse and vendors provide food for consumption now or later, along with flowers, dog treats and much more.

Once you accept that parking is going to be a nightmare and finally do find a place to put your car, get ready for a diverse, culinary adventure. This isn't just a farmer's market! Vendors bring customers food from all around the world--from the most mainstream to some pretty niche genres. I was a big fan of the Peruvian place and ate a lot of deep fried stuffed potatoes and empanadas. I'd regretted not bringing a cooler to pick up more things to keep in the car (we stopped while road tripping).
The only issue/concern I have is that there are lots of people in close quarters and COVID precautions seemed to be up to the individual and some were clearly more careful than others. I appreciated the outdoor tables so I didn't have to eat indoors, tightly packed in with others.
You also can't help but appreciate the history of the place and diversity of the people. I haven't seen such a rainbow of people and cultures collide in one place since I was last in Vancouver. Way to go, Harrisburg!

This historic market has a bit of everything...fresh meats, poultry, fish, produce, bakery items and prepared foods. The one building is almost exclusively prepared foods of all kinds to take out or to eat there at the tables provided. There is a brew bar, too. The second building has traditional farmer's market fare in addition to florists and other vendors of gift items. It's not just a market, it's an adventure.

The Broad Street Market is an nice place to check out with a great variety of vendors. You can have a great meal here and sample food from several booths. Check it out if you are in the area.

There are 2 buildings to peruse: one has mostly food vendors, the other meat, veggies and fruits. There are several Amish vendors. The veggies and fruits looked like pictures from a magazine—they were that perfect! You can find anything your taste buds desire right here! A great place to visit.
