Speed Raceway has new owners, K1 Racing. The location was slightly remodeled with a different race course and many of the games were moved around or taken away. When you first go to Speed Raceway, you must purchase a "license". Then you pay for the number of trips you want to take atround the track. The new owners insist that you buy another license so you wind up paying twice for the right to buy a raceway trip-should have been able to transfer it. Seems like the cost of the track went up too. The games are based on points that you purchase on a game card. It did seem like the points were increased on the games-so if the game says 4 points to play, looks like they charge more. It was a very disappointing trip with my 8 yer old grandson as prices increased and the staff did not seem very helpful. So if you do go, be prepared to spend more money.

I planned an event there for my son's school's 6th Grade Club. Robert, the event organizer who helped me plan it over the phone could not have been nicer and more amenable, but during the actual event, the Horsham staff was disorganized and unhelpful and unprofessional. They had us using a dreary, cavernous conference room (set up with a podium and round tables) as our "party space" and the only way we were able to complete the two races we paid for was because several kids opted not to race again. We were promised unlimited arcade access, but many of the game cards didn't work, and there were also restrictions on what games could be played. When you consider we also had to bring our own food and drink, and the parent chaperones and I had to do a lot of the work (corralling the kids for races, double-checking that everyone had had a turn, continuing to go to the counter for new arcade cards, etc), the $45-per-kid price tag was way too high. I definitely do NOT recommend this place for a party or official gathering. We only had 34 kids and it was a nightmare.

Help me understand how they charge you $9 memberships whether you want to be a member or not. The excuse is that it’s for upkeep of the equipment, etc. That should be a refundable deposit at time of race. So in order to bring 5 kids , you have to pay an extra $45 whether you step foot in this place again. How does this make sense ?

The axe throwing boards were very cracked didn’t really fix them. The raceway it was fun but they boost certain people so much so it’s really ruining the fun when u don’t get boosted and the other people do. Also they apparently can’t tighten the helmets so yours would fall off.

Visited and raced for a company gathering. A bit challenging to race because they control your sped and all that. But overall very nice.
The ace throwing is cool. Reminds you of the ancient era.

I brought my 7 year old grandson here for the first time. Luckily, it was not crowded at the time. He was more interested in the arcade section which was fine. Several games were easy and fun for him. We were not aware that ticket rewards were added to the issued speed raceway card but that was explained to us. When he finally decided to try the racing, he was shown an instructional video. He got into his car and took off. He did crash a few times but the staff was helpful and careful with him. Overall, he had a very nice time. We also had a pizza and a soda there which were reasonably prices. So for the $20 game card (plus $3 service fee), 2 laps and the food, we spent $79. The place is very clean, safety is a priority and the staff was extremely patient and helpful. Sean, the manager, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

NOT SAFE FOR KIDS! Came here for my birthday party, my group of friends was put with a random man despite requests to stick to our group. The man ended up having road rage and intentionally rammed me from behind and gave me a concussion. Spoke to the manager and they did nothing about it. Safety isn't a priority for them!

Parents called to make a reservation for 3 kids. We were told that it really wasn’t necessary as it wasn’t very busy.
After dropping off a 17, 15, and 12 yr olds, they each paid $40 ($120 total). Then they were told to wait for their turn.
TWO hours later, after they checked periodically where they were on the list, they finally asked for a cash refund. They were told their race time is up next! A total sham. They did 1 race and they were each given $10 refund.
Absolutely took advantage of 3 kids. Never again- really bad business.

My company hosted a team building event at this location. We spent an afternoon go-kart racing with the colleagues . Neat facility, fast carts and friendly staff. Overall a good time.

For Fathers Day, I suggested this place because it was close to home. Upon arrival, we signed up for 2 races and had to make a reservation. With that being said, we rented a cage for Ax Throwing for ,one hour. I never did that before and it really was fun. My son was good and he did this before, but I was better and never did this before. My daughter had trouble in getting in sync.
Fun time all and all throwing axes. They even offer bottle water at no extra cost.
We got prepared for the races and ran one race. Do you race to win, but you race for the best time. All the cars are electric and they control the rate of speed.
They also offer small cars for smaller children.
You get your print out as soon as the race is over. At full speed, it takes a lot to control the cars in the hair pin curves.
Well organized, but you may spend a lot of time waiting, so just don't show up. Make a reservation.
