‪Experiencing Cotswolds at Your Own Pace‬

‪Senior citizens and adult daughter just spent 4 days in the Cotswolds with Jon Moorhouse. What a treat. Jon put together our itinerary, recommended hotel and restaurants. We wanted to travel the region but didnt want to drive on the left side, deal with buses and trains, or waste a lot of time waiting in lines. Jon made it so easy and was so delightful to talk to. We loved our time with him.‬

‪Another amazing tour of The Cotswolds!‬

‪Another fantastic tour with this company!
This was my third tour with Cotswolds Luxury Tours and I still look forward to doing more tours in the future whenever I’m back in England again. There is always something new to learn and new places to see in The Cotswolds. You can never fit everything into one day.
Plus Jon, does a fantastic job of showing you, out of the way things, as well as pointing out plants and wildlife that are specific to England and that area.
It is always a joy to ride in his van and to chat about everything Cotswolds.
It really is a most remarkable area of England.‬

‪Fantastic tour of the Cotswold area with Jon! Ten Stars!!‬

‪We visited England in July 2022. We wanted to see EVERYTHING, but the Cotswolds were at the top of our list. Jon worked with us to customize and fine-tune our 3-day tour of this wonderful region. Little did we know how amazing this excursion would be. The beauty of the Cotswolds speaks for itself and Jon's vast knowledge of the history of the area was invaluable. He educated us on the architecture of the region, shared his knowledge & love of flowers & food, and was an absolute joy to chat with. Jon was flexible yet kept us on our predetermined itinerary in order to make the most of our time together. I would highly recommend Cotswold Luxury Tours & Jon Morehouse. If and when we return to England, we will definitely plan another excursion with Jon‬

‪First of all, the Cotswolds are amazing! But, what made the trip absolutely perfect was having Jon tour us around. He is knowledgeable, fun, and works hard to make sure your trip is exactly how you want it. His Mercedes vehicle is comfortable and roomy (we had 5 in our group). Anytime we decided to change things up a bit he never got frustrated and in fact, was thrilled to provide just what we wanted. No hesitation in my recommendation to use Jon!! Thanks again Jon and come to Utah to visit us!!‬

‪Jon was a delight!! We spent two amazing days with him in the Cotswolds. He knows every detail of the area and provided a perfect, tailored tour for our group. Not a single complaint could be made of our experience.‬

‪Amazing day with Jon‬

‪We visited Cotswold in Aug 2020 as a group of 6 friends. I was really glad that I found Jon's website. he has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole experience. Before the trip, he communicated regularly with me to understand our preference so he could plan a perfect trip for us. It was exciting to meet him and his beloved Mercedes "Tory" (so spacious and comfortable!). He took us to 8-9 beautiful towns around North Cotswold within a day, including Burford, Stow-on-the-wold, Daylesford Farm, Chipping Campden, Broadway etc. He would join us at some places to give us a tour, and tell us the stories of Cotswold we'd never know by ourselves. He'd also leave some space for us to wander around some towns by ourselves - the balance was perfect. He has planned a perfect itinerary for us, having known that we'd like to do a small hike, he's pencilled in a short walk from Stanton to Stanway, so that we could go home and say we've done some of the famous Cotswold Way :)

All of us have enjoyed chatting with Jon during on the journey, you could tell how much passion and love he had for this area. I'd definitely recommend him to everyone who's visiting Cotswold and the surrounding area.‬

‪My second booked tour with Jon, even better than the FIRST one!‬

‪My neice, and I, just visted England, two weeks ago, and I wanted her to see the Cotswolds. Having used Jon, as a guide three years ago on a trip with my husband, I told her that we had to book him again, because he had left such a great impression on us that trip. This second day tour DID NOT disappoint us at all. Infact I learned even more new things about the area. Such as, he taught us the terms, as well as drove us by and showed us the differences between a Hamlet, and a Village, which was all very interesting. Also, we saw a few added sites that we didn't view on the last trip. We had a full day of exploring, and laughing, because Jon is very personable, and kind, and we felt right at home with him this time, just as my husband, and I, did the first time. Jon's vast knowledge of the Cotswolds, and his character, add to what you will take away from your day. At the end of our tour it was dusk, and as he was taking us back to Bath, he pointed out two English Hares in a field, that we totally wouldn't have seen if he hadn't told us, and he pointed at some lights in the distance and told us that area was where Wales was. We didn't realize we were that close to Wales! It's the little details like this that add to your tour. On our first tour we saw a Hunt that was happening, all the horses and dogs, the real deal, and saw a man rebuilding an ancient stone wall, just various things that made us so happy to wittness. Plus, you can ask for a specific type of tour and customize it for him to take you to specific places, or do what we do and each time we've used Jon. We just tell him that we trust him to take us wherever he wants, and it's been a brilliant experience for us each time. He can take you nearly anywhere you wish in England, (or Wales, or Scotland) so stay open minded. It will be well worth the cost. We will absolutly use Jon again, and highly recommend him to everyone we speak to that is going to England. Honestly, he even takes English people on tours of the area and beyond, so that says something right there. Next trip....I want him to take us into Wales. It's on my Bucket List now!‬

‪Jon is the best !‬

‪We visited the UK this fall to celebrate our 50th Anniversary and to explore the towns and villages of my English and Welsh ancestors. Jon picked us up at the train station in Chippenham and drove to Christian Malford the birthplace of my grandmother where we had lunch at the local pub before touring the Cotswald's. While we were at lunch, Jon sought out our ancestral home in the village and later took us there. While always helpful with suggestions and advice, Jon was clear that his objective was to help us have an enjoyable day and to fulfill our wishes. Jon met us again in Bath and we had a full day of travel to Wales visiting several villages and enjoying the beautiful countryside. Again Jon, did not disappoint. He too was excited to follow our itinerary and chose routes that maximized the experience. Always engaging and helpful, we enjoyed conversation with Jon along the way as he sought information to make our day even more memorable. We are very happy to have left the driving to Jon and to have made his acquaintance. We hope to return someday and Jon will be among the first we contact to plan our trip.‬

‪Another great tour with Jon‬

‪This was our second booking with Jon at Cotswold Chauffeur and again it was a day well spent! His unprecedented knowledge of the area adds so much to the tour as he tells you about his beloved home. From larger towns to small hidden hamlets he can accommodate any tour wishes. I’ll definitely be booking him again next summer on a trip with 6 of my high school girlfriends! Can’t wait!‬

‪Fantastic and Memorable Trip!‬

‪This review is long overdue (by one year!!), but that fact that I still remember every single detail shows you how much of a wonderful time we had.

We visited the Cotswolds in June of 2018 and the weather was absolutely beautiful! Jon was the perfect host--friendly, informative, fun, and flexible! He gave us excellent recommendations when we were visiting each town and some nice fun facts. We also told him what we wanted to see, I was really gungho about seeing some horses, and Jon took us on a path and pulled over to pet some friendly neighborhood horses. The greatest moment was when we happened to stumble upon a field of beautiful poppies and stopped there to have a nice photoshoot!

The entire trip was really relaxing and it was nice not to worry about driving and looking for directions or tips about where to eat. We stopped by a nice beer garden for lunch and had a great time--the food was amazing and Jon knew when the lunch rush was so we didn't have to waste any time!

Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing trip! After the trip, we did feel like we went to too many places and didn't get to spend a lot of time in a single town, so if you find that you are especially enjoying a location, don't be afraid to tell Jon that you want to spend a little longer there! He is very kind and designs the trip towards your taste so just let him know and enjoy! He also periodically asks if the pace of the trip is okay so you have plenty of opportunities to let him know if you want to change your trip itinerary.
