Saw an Elvis tribute act tonight, absolutely fantastic!
Disappointment is the theatre and staff. Joined a small bar queue about 10 minutes prior to being asked to sit down. A security guard could not wait to come over to me and advise me that I could not purchase a drink. He was unfriendly, abrupt and intimidating. An absolute disgrace!
This was an audience of roughly 60 plus in years. Nobody was drunk or unruly etc.
Security could not wait to tell people about using their phones, preserve memories etc.
People wanted to dance and stand up. It is a concert full of people aged 60 plus, and they were being told ‘NO’ sit in your seat, don’t have fun, don’t enjoy yourself!
Shame on you Floral Pavilion!
Your management is shocking for employing over zealous individuals. You will lose revenue if you carry on like this!

After arriving, being told the bar was closed and surviving only the first half of the act I’m left wondering……who exactly runs this place? We were ushered in, dry mouthed, to the steward who informed us we were “stuck right in the middle,” with a shrug of his shoulders. Great start to the night. But it would be worth it, these were £25 tickets. So, sat there waiting I ignored the initial party pooper and thought I’d leave my judgement for the night ahead as a whole. I made it half way through. Who on earth gives these acts the nod? Or is it simply, if they pay enough they can have the place for the night? If so, it should come with a warning. Supreme Queen were supremely Sh*t! A parody rather than a tribute. The lead singer had the stage presence of a stone and the rest of the band isn’t much better. The only thing cheaper than their fancy dress costumes were the rather inappropriate quips by “Freddie” which started with a “lets all get naked” and an informative, “that’s all we really care about” when talking about fat bottomed girl’s breasts and behinds. The wooden performance was met with a wooden audience and I was left looking for a wooden bat to end the nightmare. The break couldn’t come quick enough. Luckily, we escaped during it with what felt like our lives and left the rest behind to endure the remainder of the show. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the second half. But judging on the “condition” of the act, I can’t imagine there was much steam left. It was already at the stage where the crowd were singing into a microphone being pointed at them by an out of shape, over make-upped act oblivious to the fact they just didn’t have “IT!”
I blame the Floral Pavillion. For sanity’s sake, vet the shows. Employ someone to make sure they’re not this crap. And staff the bloody bar.

Just been to see Cinderella with my daughter and twin grandsons … absolutely fantastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show. The cast was just amazing and the costumes were fabulous. Thank you all …. See you next year.

Santa story time Dec 2022. Our first experience of seeing Santa there. Was brilliant. Santa really engaged with children & grown ups. Best Santa we’ve been to. Children got to choose a book at the end & there’s an option to buy a digital/ physical photo. Also you are allowed to take your own too. Really enjoyed the hour. Buddy the elf was funny & cheeky too.

Have been to two tribute acts at the Floral Pavilion and both have been excellent.
Arrived 30 minutes before the act and plenty of time to purchase drinks and order drinks for interval. Nice bar area and very pleasant staff.
Theatre seating comfortable and the theatre very clean throughout.

Faulty tower's experience 2022
Bit disappointed vemue was too big could not hear very well they needed microphones and didn't interect much with the audience as much as we hoped no-one came over to us at all and wouldn't go again was over too quickly, meal basic

This was the fourth time we had been to this theatre and it is a great venue but we did find a slight problem on this last visit, we sat in row R which has the wide aisle in front of the row, it’s brilliant for legroom but across the aisle in front of you the row of seats is at the same level and this really spoils the view to the stage even with normal sized people in those seats.
Before someone tells me they are for people with disabilities we did go and ask if we should move but we’re assured that this is not the case, and on the complaint by some that the seats are small, might I suggest they don’t book some of the London theatres you would have something to complain about, and finally there are not too many theatres where you can park for free across the road from the venue, it’s a great venue.

Booked a show for my husbands birthday with pre theatre dining. We'd previously done this at the Royal Court and it was great and similar price so I assumed it would be similar. The pork loin was mostly fat with 6 cubed potatoes, some carrot and broccoli. The chocolate fudge cake wasn't a fudge cake it was a dry birthday type chocolate cake with pink icing on (i think it was about £19 each for 2 courses). As if that wasn't disappointing enough we were charged £16.50 for 2 drinks (we asked for a pint of lager and a prosecco). The staff were all really nice so we tried our best to enjoy the show but couldn't actually buy a drink before the show as the queues were so long. The same thing happened in the interval, queued for 20 mins then the bar shut. It's such a great building with so much potential and staff who were clearly working hard so it's such a shame.

We had a pre show meal.
The soup was ok but the pork was very fatty it wasnt pork loin it was a Pork chop.
The show Desperate Scousewives was absolutely terrible.
The language was awful the whole thing debased the women of Liverpool not funny at all.
My dister purchased a bottle of prosecco and it was put in the fridge until the interval.
She was then told that nobody had purchased Prosecco that evening.
She felt humiliated in front of a queue of people.
The man who originally served her took the drink out of the fridge and none of the staff apologised.
My sister was so upset.

They are the first two rows. Personally I would sit a few rows back so you don't get a crick in the neck.
What rows have restricted views in circle or stalls as doesnt highlight this at time of booking . Thanks in advance.

Hi Heidi, when I went to the ballet, I went straight from work so had snark businesswear on. My friends had smart casual on but there were others there really dressed up and some were wearing tiaras! So I think anything goes really. There is no formal dress code.

The stage is quite low, so front row seats provide a good view
