Booked the afternoon tea, for me and my partners mum. This was her first visit to the plaza and it was lovely, the food and service was brilliant. Very good value, have fully recommended to everyone since.

Went to a Murder Mystery Night - Had a great time , well organised .The Plaza Players who took part in the event were very good . The evening is partly spent in the theater and then the Plaza Cafe .The numbers are limited so you will need to book as soon as the event is advertised . It's a great chance to see if you can solve the murder .
I would definitely recommend , hoping to attend another event in January 2024.

I was here recently. 4 off us to see Jackie graham and shalamar what can I say we had great seats sat in front. We could see all the action. Jackie was first up. She did set me free could be I’m fallin in love and other songs she was amazing again more interaction with the crowd she got standing ovation then the main event. Shalamar how good were they. Jeffrey Daniel and Howard Hewitt Rowling back. The years to friends 40 thaniversary tour. The songs take that to the bank I can male ufeel good friends all the hits jeffreydoing his robotic dance moves a great. Night was had just one thing this theatre had no air conditioning it was so hot. Really wasapart from this a wonderful show was had and they thanked us at the end forcimin out andsupportin them on this 40th anniversary. Show

In the past month we have visited this venue twice and on each occasion we have thoroughly enjoyed our visits and the shows that we attended.
The seating is old school but we really liked that and it was a comfortable relaxed fell in a very grand old building.
The staff were very welcoming and we parked just round the corner at the Rock which makes the venue easy to visit for all ages. Parking cost about £4 per visit.
On the two occasions we visited were on very hot days and the only negative was the bar area and toilets were very warm which made queuing at the bar very uncomfortable.
On the whole a very good experience.

Seen many shows here and been great the venue it's self but went to watch do you believe in ghost and it was absolutely shocking 100s of reviews have been deleted so true picture of the show was not shown and at 40 pound a ticket felt ripped off not to mention half the people left at the end of the first half the show... contacted the venue for a refund as the show was falsely advertised in first place and comments was all deleted off Facebook twitter ect... I'm sure the venue would been well aware of the issue with this show as been on for weeks with people saying the same thing...

Nice theatre great venue staff are nice and friendly and helpful we had a good night here seeing Madonna tribute bar was good but slow service large Qs for drinks

Been here quite a few times. As are the Plaza Steps at the side.
Wonderful location to pop over too if you are in the town.
Can’t visit and you are a Peaky Blinders fan ~ See Bingley Hall.

The Plaza is a gem. Iconic art deco building, opulent decor and friendly staff. Just seen an NT live screening which was fantastic.

Cinderella. At the beautiful Art Deco Plaza Theatre in Stockport. With a great cast, music, dancing, costumes, effects. Plenty of involvement for the kids and the adults What more could you want. Go and see it!

Does anyone know if there are any car parks near the Plaza & what the charges are on a Sunday.

There is a limited amount of car parking outside, and also across the road. There is also a car park about 100 mtrs. if you turn to the left as you leave the theatre on the right hand side of the road.

My two 30-something sons had seats in the balcony, on the VERY back row, recently and said there was absolutely no problem with the view, although they struggled a bit with the leg room
