I started a 4-session introductory course but realised in advance that I was unable to attend the last 2 sessions. I phoned up and spoke to one of the team who advised me to write an email to request that the sessions be swapped to a later date. I emailed as requested and never got a reply, so the sessions and my money were wasted. It would have been nice if someone could have at least got back to me to say yes or no. It makes no business sense to have such poor customer service and to not agree to the swap, as because of this I will not go back to Awesome Walls. This is a shame as the climbing facilities are good.

Thank you for your review and for bringing this to our attention.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the poor service that you have received. We try to respond and resolve all customer queries and requests in a timely manner.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for sessions booked in with us.
As the request to move your session was within this period, your request was forwarded to a manager to see if we could make an exception in your case.
Unfortunately it looks like a response wasn't given back to you. Please once again accept my apologies.
We would like to make this right with you. If you could please give us a call on 0161 494 9949 we will arrange a partial refund for the 2 sessions you missed, including the one within our regular cancellation period.

Booked a taster session with friends to just try climbing out, we all absolutely loved it, so much that we are now inducted and looking forward to visiting regularly. As a group in our 50’s I wondered whether we were a little old to try this as a new sport but once I visited the site, saw the mix of people and abilities and met the fabulous team I knew I had nothing to fear. Both instructors that worked with us were amazing and very patient, and all staff we met were so welcoming. What a great find!

We had an amazing birthday party for a 12 year old. She had been before with guides. Josh looked after the kids and built up their confidence. We started at small walls and progressed right up to the biggest. Some kids had never climbed before. The venue was fine with us taking cake and snacks for the kids to eat afterwards, which helped a lot as we had some fussy eaters. There was plenty of space upstairs for adults to watch. We thoroughly recommend this venue for parties. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and great with kids. Thank you!!

We booked a birthday party for our youngest. The kiddos had the best time. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a good space. Couldn't ask for more.

We have been coming regularly at this climbing centre for nearly 10 years and the fact that we keep returning speaks volumes. But this review was prompted by seeing the instructors working with children's parties at the weekend. My partner & I are both teachers and we couldn't help but notice the warm, genuine enthusiasm from the instructors with the children: Ash, Rossi, Beth and Gavin all have a lovely way with the young climbers and create a fun atmosphere for all.
As for the climbing, there are routes for all levels of climbers, from beginners to experienced climbers. There is also a fantastic bouldering area.

We had our son’s tenth birthday party here and would highly recommend. He brought four friends with him and they all had a great time.
The instructor, Rob, was great with the kids and encouraged the ones who were a bit nervous to have a go and got them all climbing in no time.
Some of the walls are very high but the kids didn’t seem to bother too much and they all had a good go at even the highest walls.
We went for the 1.5 hour party and would recommend this if you’re bringing five kids so they get maximum climbing time, I think the shorter party would probably have been too short.

Had booked a full center induction. Our instructor Rob was excellent! friendly and knowledgeable; an excellent tutor to guide me and my young daughter around the center. The staff are friendly and welcoming to beginners. It's an excellent place to spend an afternoon with kids who are eager to climb or just starting out. Plenty of space on the walls so there's always one free for you to use. Highly recommend.

Basic training from Ash was very fun but also educational and will defo be returning ! Had a great time and can’t wait to come again to try and get up more walls :)

Hi wondering if someone can help me - we have not been before can you just turn up for a session? Also is it suitable for an adrenaline 5 year old junkie :) thanks

If you've climbed before and know the knots and how to belay then just turn up.
If you need instruction then you'll need to do a 'Taster Session' with one of our instructors (tel: 0161 4949949

Hi there
We are open Monday-Friday 10:00-22:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10:00-20:00.
Little Angels Kids Club is held every Monday and Friday evening between 6.00 and 8.00pm and 10.00am-12.00pm sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings, for only £9.50 your children can enjoy 2 hours rock climbing with an experienced instructor and meet new friends.
We also run 1 hour taster sessions for 2 or more people. These are £19 for adults and £15 for under 18s.
